Looking for a good answer to explain the Iran War? Watch how GOP candidate Justin Murphy explains his position on ending this war. It was very good:

What would Murphy tell President Trump if the president called and asked what to do about Iran?

“Finish it. Finish that war in a positive manner,” Murphy answered.

The Republican went on to condemn the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, emphasizing both its support for terrorism and the suffering of the Iranian people under the regime. He recalled the American embassy hostage crisis and argued that decades of violence and oppression demanded a decisive response.

“Four decades is enough. The Iranian people have suffered enough,” Murphy declared before urging Trump to bring the conflict to a successful conclusion. His answer drew cheers.

Finish the war in a positive way? We used to call that victory!

Iran is a cancer on human existence? The IRGC has done nothing but export terror? How many examples do we need? The Beirut attack that killed 240 something U.S. Marines? The bombs in Iraq and Afghanistan? And the barbarism of October 7?

Put on your cowboy boots and kick some ass? I like that. This is “let’s roll 2026.”

To say the least, Senator Cory Booker looked like the rookie who had not seen a pitch break like that before. He came back with the talking points but said nothing of consequence.

This is the kind of direct, straightforward point that we’ve been looking for. Sometimes the Democrats want to picture the pre-Trump situation in Iran as some version of Alice in Wonderland, i.e. a nation focused on the well-being of its citizens. On the contrary, Iran was building underground plants to hide the progress of its nuclear program. Yes, they were hiding the progress of that program because it violated all the agreements signed. Furthermore, they were manufacturing rockets that could travel 2,000 miles — just long enough to hit a European city.

Murphy won’t win in New Jersey, unfortunately. They will send Senator Booker back, and we will have him around until he decides to run for president.

What we saw from Murphy was the kind of common-sense talk missing in the Iran debate.
