Americans heading into this midterm season keep hearing that President Donald J. Trump spends all his time on foreign policy, especially the conflict with Iranian Islamist state terrorists.

That story is false.

While the White House handles threats abroad, it is delivering concrete results at home that cut costs, restore factories, lock in energy, and put cash back in working families’ pockets. Republican voters who skip November will hand Democrats the power to freeze every one of those gains. For starters.

Take a look at medicine. On August 31, the Trump administration announced deals with nine more drug makers that bring most-favored-nation (MFN) pricing to American patients. MFN is a federal policy which Trump has championed during his second term. It is designed to lower prescription drug costs by capping US medication prices. The cap twists in at the lowest price paid for the same drugs by other economically-comparable nations.

Twenty-six drug manufacturers now cover 89% of the branded American market. Therefore, every company that complies with MFN goes a long way toward lowering medication costs nationwide. The new agreements cover treatments for hemophilia, Parkinson’s disease, macular degeneration, glaucoma, liver disorder, skin conditions, and multiple cancers.

Every state Medicaid program gets the lower prices, producing billions in savings for taxpayers. The same companies pledged at least $19.6 billion in near-term U.S. manufacturing. They donated large quantities of critical ingredients to the Strategic Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients Reserve so the country is not hostage to foreign suppliers in a crisis.

Those deals sit on top of earlier wins.

Since the TrumpRx website launched in February, patients have already saved more than $700 million. This Internet hub provides coupons, which are made possible by MFN discounts. It then directs consumers to manufacturer-negotiated cash savings on prescription drugs.

Among many other breakthroughs, seniors who lacked GLP-1 coverage now pay $50 a month. More than 500,000 of them saved $216 million in just two months. The Council of Economic Advisers projects $600 billion in total savings over the next decade. When it comes to lowering prescription drug costs, the future beams with promise.

Contrast that with the Biden-Harris years, when Americans paid the world’s highest prices so other countries could free-ride on U.S. innovation. Trump forced the industry to stop that parasitism.

The same day it made major MFN progress, the White House locked in U.S.-majority control of more than 65 billion barrels of proven Venezuelan reserves at zero cost to taxpayers. That dwarfs America’s current 46 billion barrels of territorial reserves. Furthermore, it guarantees cheap offtake for the same Strategic Petroleum Reserve that Joe Biden drained to historic lows.

American rigs and refineries will process the new barrels, creating thousands of jobs here. The arrangement also evicts Russian and Chinese operators who looted the fields for Havana, Moscow, and Beijing. It is the Monroe Doctrine, which calls for America to dominate the Western hemisphere, put back to work.

Meanwhile, manufacturing is roaring back in Michigan.

Vice President JD Vance visited the swing state, which has a crucial U.S. Senate race this November, to mark the shift. General Motors is putting $6 billion into American plants, including Orion Township in Greater Detroit, and adding overtime in Flint. Ford is investing $3 billion in its battery park, located in small-town Marshall, and a third shift in Dearborn. Stellantis is pouring hundreds of millions of dollars into Van Buren, Detroit, and Warren.

New vehicle sales in 2025 hit their strongest mark since 2019. OpenAI, Oracle, and others are building a $7 billion data-center campus. Pratt Industries, Corning, Chobani, and GE Aerospace are adding plants and jobs.

The Working Families Tax Cuts, signed into law by Trump last year, deliver no tax on Social Security for 1.7 million Michigan seniors, no tax on overtime or tips, and a deduction for interest on American-made auto loans. Average refunds hit $3,508. Violent crime is falling: homicides are down 19% so far in 2026. Detroit recorded its fewest killings since 1964.

Democrats, from city hall to Capitol Hill, have no interest in protecting any of the progress Trump and his staff have made. They are now captives of third-worldist, communist-led young activists who call themselves “democratic socialists.” Their worldview is undeniable. These people believe the majority-white West grew rich by stealing from the nonwhite, underdeveloped world. Therefore, per this toxic narrative, the West must be bled of capital until non-Westerners, especially Muslims, enjoy revenge.

Republican voters who stay home in November are choosing America-last. Every GOP voter should cast a ballot. Protect the hard-won progress already underway. Keep the country led by strength, which requires a majority-Republican Congress to support President Trump. Do not surrender this nation to race-communist savages.

The choice is that stark.
