Voter identification, the quintessential 80-20 issue with voters, has big fans even in California.

So it didn’t take much for Proposition 39 to get on the November ballot in California, having drawn more than twice the required signatures.

And guess who’s decided to throw a t*** into that punchbowl, according to the California Post.

California Attorney General Rob Bonta is facing outrage for defending his rewording of ballot language for the state’s voter ID law.

The Democrat has been accused of a misleading, last-minute change to the description of  Proposition 39, which would require voters to provide government ID at the polls or the last four digits of a ID number if voting by mail.

The original measure, which voters signed onto, read as: “establishes additional voter identification and citizenship verification requirements.”

Bonta changed it to: “prohibits citizens from voting unless they present government-issued identification.”

Citizens, see, will be prohibited, (as in Prohibition, get it?from their constitutional right to vote unless they can jump through bureaucratic hoops to be allowed to do it, as if requesting voter-ID were no different from filing California’s abundant taxes.

What Bonta, the sleaziest politician I can think of, famous for his involvement with the corrupt crew running Oakland that was busted a couple years ago, and his wife’s ‘Stop Nick Shirley Act’ which prohibits exposés of the kind Shirley did on phony daycare and other fraud centers, was trying to do was stop a measure from passing that Democrats are on the defensive about, even with their base.

Many believe the only reason to oppose voter identification is to cheat, and Bonta is way up there at the top of the heap of those who benefit from cheating in California. With this measure bound to pass, he’s cornered, and so he’s adopted a new tactic: Twisting and distorting the language of the measure to try to sway the voters on the official document.

This has been posted today but it wasn’t gotten the attention it needs and gone viral

He’s obviously counting on low-information voters and NGOs in posssession of harvested homeless and nursing-home ballots from the insentient to get will done for him.

It’s extreme rigging, and exposes the embedded corruption of the California machine, which will do anything to preserve and perpetuate its power.

The citizens who organized the ballot are planning a lawsuit. One can only hope that they succeed.
