Frightened Dems realize the DSA they birthed is coming for them

A truism of leftist revolutions is that the Old Guard is never sufficiently pure for the younger generation that it trained. More scarily, the younger generation is usually willing to engage in mass slaughter to carry on the pure form of the revolution, whether with or without the help of select Old Guard members willing to save their own skin by embracing the slaughter.

Right now, we’re witnessing a few in the Democrat Old Guard who suddenly feel the revolution’s claws scraping at their jugulars. We can only hope that normal Americans stop the madness before the blood really flows.

Going back to the French Revolution, the pattern has been the same: Revolutionaries rise up against real or perceived oppression, they train a new generation in the revolution’s values, and the new generation goes on a bloody tear:

The French Revolution started in dead earnest when the Girondins brought down the monarchy. The Girondins, in turn, were purged by the Jacobins/Montagnards. The same Terror that brought the king, queen, and aristocrats to Madame Guillotine eventually put the Girondins in the tumbrils, too.

In the Russian Revolution, Trotsky was an architect of the Bolshevik victory. Later, though, he was seen as a reactionary throwback, so Stalin had him executed, along with myriad other “Old Bolsheviks.” Eventually, Stalin purged hundreds or even thousands from the Old Guard.

Mao’s Cultural Revolution, led by college students who had received only indoctrination in their education, relentlessly purged the very people who had helped Mao rise to power, including Liu Shaoqi, who was once China’s president. Eventually, the Cultural Revolution may have killed upwards of 1 to 2 million “impure” people.

In Cuba, Castro systematically destroyed all the less extreme communists who helped bring him to power.

And of course, the Iranian revolution was supported by thousands of non-religious people, only for the hardliners to hunt them down in the decade after the revolution. Hundreds of thousands were killed by the pure Islamic revolutionaries.

As the old saying goes, “revolutions always eat their own,” as the Old Guard either gets destroyed by the young ones or dances to the young ones’ tune to keep from being killed. The American Revolution was a rarity because it was grounded in the Bible and individual liberty and led by men who viewed themselves as returning to a stable, British-style government, rather than carving out revolutionary new paths.

That quick history is a good lead-in to what’s happening in today’s Democrat party. I won’t do a long disquisition, but will instead offer three examples:

Here’s California State Senator, U.S. House candidate, and professional gay leather dude Scott Wiener discovering that the “Free Palestine” movement is lining up to destroy him. Jewish, he once tried to stand for Israel. Then, he tried to back away from Israel. Now, he’s discovering that if he doesn’t call for Israel’s destruction, his days are numbered:

That is a hunted expression if I ever saw one.

Then there’s Jim Carville’s horror as he discovers that the party he created has become (to use Mamdani’s word) a “monster”:

And finally, radical TDS sufferer and ardent race baiter, New York state attorney general Letitia James, is getting a little worried, too, although her concerns seem more pragmatic than principled:

The Zohran Mamdani-led socialist takeover of New York City is not sitting well with a lot of Democrats. 

New York Attorney General Letitia James on Wednesday expressed disappointment with New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani for blowing up the Democratic party by endorsing democratic socialist candidates against long-time incumbents.

“Some of the candidates that he has supported are individuals who do not understand the politics of New York City, the cultural differences from district to district, who have not been part of the history and the struggle of some of these districts, and are relatively new to the body politic,” James told CNN. 

I’m not sure that the Democrats’ Old Guard can mount a counterattack against the party’s Jacobins. The Old Guard birthed and nurtured this radical, anti-American, anti-Christian, antisemitic fiend, and many of their members have already revealed that they are too frightened of “Frankendem,” or too wedded to power at all costs, to do anything about it. Thus, people like Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi have been silent about the DSA’s intrusion into the party, with all its openly anti-American and virulently antisemitic and anti-Christian baggage.

In many ways, we are experiencing 1932 in Germany, right before Hitler’s rise. The only thing between America and a radical takeover is the normal American people’s vote. It’s in our power to create a pushback so overwhelming that the DSA crew slinks back into its cave to wither away. If we don’t act, the world’s last, best hope can easily end in a pile of ashes.
