We often get overwhelmed with the news of the day, as well as the serious threats we face from a party that wants to take away our individual liberty, shred our founding documents, and destroy our constitutional republic. We all want to do something to defend our freedoms, but it looks impossible because it seems like we’re taking on the world.

Except we don’t have to do that; we only have to focus on our respective corners of the globe, and take on issues at a local level. Because when we all make our individual efforts, they multiply by millions and become massive.

This is the case for supporting the sane side of the political spectrum, and while the Republicans have been less than ideal — or suboptimal — they have the distinct advantage of at least being on the stable side of sane. The padded-room-ready denizens of the DNC/DSA have no redeeming qualities for those wanting to keep the country in one piece.

We also need to promote the advancements made by President Trump, accomplishments purposefully hidden by the national socialist media.

Pro-freedom patriots cannot idly stand by in this election. It should be obvious by now that we’re past the point where anyone can honorably “sit this one out.”  There was a time, many decades ago, when the two parties weren’t as vastly different as they are now.  A time when the individualism, liberty, and limited government philosophy of the right didn’t contrast as much with the collectivism, control, and unlimited government philosophy of the left.

Back then, the changes after an election weren’t as profound and far-reaching.  Back then, an election wasn’t the almost life-or-death struggle of today.

But those days are long gone.

Demonic sociopaths of America make it clear that they are chomping at the bit to tear down the basic structures of the country.  From getting rid of whole swaths of representatives of people who limit government power to shredding the founding documents that have kept us stable and free for 250 years — far longer than similar efforts in other countries.

These are people who can’t define a woman, unless it’s Sydney Sweeney in sports equipment, who want to eliminate borders and grant asylum to the globe, and provide “free” healthcare, housing, food, and whatever else they can think of to bankrupt the country many times over.

Flock cameras, digital currency dread, and dictionary definitions that can easily be changed at an electronic whim that would have made George Orwell recoil in horror are just in the movie preview.  For decades, many a main feature revolved around our technologies taking over, and now we’re in a race with the Chinese reds to see who can dominate the AI apocalypse.

Let’s be honest here, the Republican Party may not be ideal — and that’s being charitable — but the communards have really lost the plot.  They’ve let their worst instincts and insane thoughts go wild; these are the demonic sociopaths who celebrate political violence, and even worse, unapologetically posted that Trump supporters belong in the oven of a national socialist concentration camp.  As someone else made clear, they really do want us dead, and we’d better take them at their word.

The reality is, this is a battle between government control and freedom, especially when it comes to the economy.

The far left and the media would love to sell everyone a tale of an economy in trouble, except that there is plenty of good news on that front: Trump, good economic news, and the midterm elections.

Did you know that just-released Census Bureau statistics show the poverty rate in the United States fell to a record low in 2025? That’s an extraordinary development, but it has so far not attracted a lot of media coverage or discussion.

[snip]

The Census Bureau also announced that real median household income in 2025 was $87,460, an increase of $2,250 from the year before and “the highest on record dating back to 1967.” So Trump could brag about the highest income and the lowest poverty on record.

Obviously, the good news comes amid bad news on prices. The year-over-year rate of inflation today is actually higher than it was when Trump took office in January 2005. That is largely due to energy prices. To use new figures from AAA: Last year, the average price for a gallon of diesel was $3.71. Now, it’s $6.40. Last year, a gallon of regular gas was $3.20. Now, it’s $4.44.

Yes, there is good news along with the bad. Glenn Beck recently went through the data and postulated the analogy of the country going through cancer treatments — because what the left had done was that serious, and to fix the problem, we may need to deal with some discomfort.

Just changing your little corner of the world.

That phrase comes from an episode of the 70’s comedy-drama M*A*S*H, entitled “Souvenirs,” where the main characters Hawkeye and B.J. stop a chopper pilot from endangering local children picking up battlefield material, so he instead could sell these as “souvenirs.” He mocked the men’s effort, asking if they were going to change the world, to which they replied, “No, just our little corner of it.”

Sometimes you have to take things in manageable chunks, changing just part of the world, while everyone else handles theirs in turn.

Doing what we can by donating our time or money, and of course voting against the commies. We only have one sane choice in this election; we all have to do what we can to conserve liberty, doing our part in defeating the left for good.
