In the 16th century, Britain was at the forefront of the religious wars. Its monarchs ping-ponged between Catholicism and Protestantism, eventually settling on the latter, and its foreign political allegiances for centuries after revolved around Christian doctrines. In the 19th century, Britain’s robust attitude was grounded in muscular Christianity. Even today, the government is officially Christian, and the King is head of the Church of England.

But while Christianity was, for over a millennium, a living presence in the UK and a driving cultural and political force, now it’s a meat-suit draped over an Islamo-communist infrastructure, one that has no fealty to native Christian citizens or to its own past.
The latest example of this is the news that, from January to July 2026, the British government gave 974 free hijabs to Muslim illegal aliens entering the nation. Hijabs are the head covering mandated for Muslim women and, of course, for any women living in a Muslim-dominant country (at least, women who don’t want to get raped). Oh, did I say free? My bad. The British taxpayers funded those hijabs:
The restrictive Islamic apparel is reportedly being handed over to females landing on UK shores at a rate of 162 a month, internal government figures seen and reported by the Mail on Sunday show.

Home Office documents show between January and June, 974 hijabs were given to boat migrants. At that rate, the total is likely to be close to 1,500 by now for this year alone.

A Home Office source told the Mail on Sunday it claimed a legal duty to provide basic clothing, including cultural and religious items, under the Short-term Holding Facility Rules with newly arrived Muslims at the forefront of those being granted free stuff.

Despite the claim that it has a mandate to provide “cultural and religious” items to refugees, I strongly doubt that the UK Home Office would ever provide crosses to Christian refugees fleeing Islamic slaughter in their home countries. Those, I’m sure, would simply be defined as unnecessary home or personal décor.
At this rate, I wonder how long it’ll be before the British government starts handing out mandatory hijabs to all British women to assuage the sensibilities of the Muslim population. What’s clear is that, contrary to that classic WWII song, there won’t always be an England. There may be an island nation with that name, but it will be unrecognizable to anyone who came before.
