A few days ago, I noted the large number of DSA-linked looney leftists now running for office, briefly mentioning Claire Valdez, who was all in for abolishing ICE. She’s running for a safe New York state assembly seat to represent the 37th District in Queens.

That wasn’t terribly different from what any of the other nutbags were saying, so now the New York City Democrat has stepped forward to tell us who she is and what she is about:

215 years ago, Mexicans fought an empire that demanded our land and our labor. And we won.

I’ll carry that fight with me to Congress as New York’s first Mexican American representative.

And I’m strengthened not just by Mexico’s history but its present. Last month I met… pic.twitter.com/bltYEhXMhN

Her self-posted text reads:
215 years ago, Mexicans fought an empire that demanded our land and our labor. And we won. I’ll carry that fight with me to Congress as New York’s first Mexican American representative. And I’m strengthened not just by Mexico’s history but its present. Last month I met comrades in Morena who are standing up to the empires and corporations that have always taken from us – and building a government for the working class. ¡Viva la Independencia, Viva México!

Nice use of the words ‘our’ and ‘we.’ Seems her loyalties and identifications are elsewhere.

In her ‘we,’ which is doing a lot of heavy lifting here, she claims she fought the Spanish empire because in her Marxist analysis of things, they exploited ‘her’ labor and land. She continues to hold a grudge against the Spanish empire, except that now she considers the United States the Spanish empire, and she’s going to fight it some more. She’s not ‘strengthened’ by America’s history but by Mexico’s, which has been pretty disastrous to look at the kind of people who ‘won’ over Spain — Freemasons who banned the Catholic Church in the early part of the 20th century and triggered the bloody Cristero resistance for religious freedom in central Mexico; long miserable one-party state rule that writer Mario Vargas Llosa once called ‘the perfect dictatorship;’ and mass poverty brought on by expropriations and nationalizations in a land that otherwise had a lot going for it.

Empires and corporations that have ‘always taken from us’?

So she wants to chase the corporations and their investment and jobs out of America, too, following the Mexican model? We all know what that left Mexico when the socialist/freemason expropriations got started around World War II, when Mexico was a de facto ally of the Nazis in its bid to Get Gringo.

It sounds like she has some loyalties to Mexico, not the U.S., and that’s no chimerical thing, given that Mexico has recently been caught conferencing in Mexico City about how to manipulate U.S. elections. Usually, ‘their’ candidates keep their loyalties quiet, but this one has broken new ground, not even concealing her loyalty to Mexico over the U.S. No gratitude to America, no identification of any kind to America, and no obvious reason why she would want to be here instead of there. Yet the idiots in New York will vote for her.

Sen. Dan Crenshaw had a pretty decent tweet in response:

Sorry, which Congress are you “carrying this fight” to? Ours? Mexico’s? And who are we “fighting,” exactly? Spain?

Please read a book if you do come to Congress. Most DSA’s haven’t, so you’d really be breaking new ground! https://t.co/XcOJf9GZMu
