A report from the Institute for Family Studies found that married couples who regularly attend church enjoy more frequent sex than non-religious married couples. Moreover, their intimate encounters engendered much more warm and fuzzy satisfaction.
Upon reflection, this should not be surprising. The Bible presents sex as a marvelous and wondrous gift from god to be exulted and glorified within the confines of marriage. Sex is natural, sex is good; by contrast, the godless leftists can’t get no satisfaction.
Let’s be specific: 1 Corinthians 7:3–5. Per this very pleasing verse, the wife owes her husband conjugal rights — she is to share her body lovingly. That’s why attendants report much higher frequencies of sex and resultant satisfaction compared to the irreligious.
So there we have it: Per biblical stipulation, spouses are encouraged to show demonstrable affection toward one another — no feigning headaches. Now imagine how much more salubrious religious marriages would be if the wife took Ephesians 5:22 to heart: “Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord.” So be it!
