The first-of-its-kind midterm Republican National Convention (RNC) was a viewer magnet, garnering over 100 million live stream and cable news views last week, Breitbart News learned.
The more than 100 million views were tallied across social media live streams, including Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube, as well as cable news, according to a source familiar and data reviewed by Breitbart News.
“The Republican Convention was a massive success and accomplished exactly what we set out to do — energize our base, tout the Administration’s achievements, and expose the Democrats’ far-left agenda to tens of millions of people,” Republican National Committee National Press Secretary Natalie Baldassarre told Breitbart News in a statement.
Cool, as the young people say. Yes, it was cool to try something like this in the summer of the midterms.

The purpose of the convention was to remind the base what this election is all about. We are not running against normal “Ds” this time around. These are a different breed of “Ds,” some would say not even Democrats at all. They hold values, as Secretary Robert F. Kennedy said, that his father and uncle would not recognize. They are not liberals. They are angry leftists who hate the country..
Let’s hear from Governor Ron DeSantis on Hannity:
“Yes, there are swings back and forth, but you don’t want to swing to the DSA (Democratic Socialists of America). If you do that, you’re handing power to a group of people who reject the founding principles of this country and will take it in a direction from which it will be very difficult to recover. This is not your father’s or grandfather’s Democratic Party. This is a very militant party now, and they cannot be trusted with power.”
And that’s the point and the genius of holding the convention. Contrast the visions and point out what a DSA-run House would mean for the country. It would throw Washington into an investigative frenzy that won’t change anything except drive moderates crazier than before.
Last but not least, watch for parties in the future to repeat this midterm convention idea.
