A female Clancy juror admitted that she and her tyrannical mob saw the case as an opportunity to “make it better for other women.” She viewed her duty as promoting a cause, rather than deliberating a case. That’s not her province.

In her warped mind, a verdict favorable to evil Clancy would “protect future children” because it would set a precedent. She, and it can be deduced the other women (and a couple of men) on the jury, were on a feminist crusade, it would appear.

Can you imagine if men showed up outside a courthouse to show support for a father who killed his children because he wasn’t in his right mind (for whatever reason)? Nope, neither can I — it hasn’t happened, nor should it.

The female jurors are probably the types to pound sticks in the woods to let off steam, to shout at lakes, or go to crying rooms for rage catharsis. Even though they chose to pursue a feminist cause rather than deliberate a case, what did it avail them? If the idea is that more aid needs to be rendered to feeble females who are always on the cusp of madness, even after the wonders of childbirth, then convicting Clancy would have done that. It would send a message to potential copycats that your children take absolute precedence; if necessary, run from the shrinks and pick up a Bible to soothe your disturbed soul.

Maybe the shrinks and their prescriptions did her a disservice, but it seems obvious her murderous actions were premeditated and carefully executed. Given her precise timing, and the convenience of a commanding male voice suddenly directing her, maybe she was no more incapacitated by postpartum psychosis than your average drunk is incapacitated by inebriation.

If the misguided jurors really wanted to make it better for women, then a conviction would have done that. More importantly, it would make it better for children. Instead, they promoted a feminist cause over the case. So much for voir dire in jury selection — prejudiced prospective jurors are supposed to be culled if on an agenda-driven cause. Go run for office, if you must, but leave your fake feminist politics out of the jury room.
