When is a justice system not a justice system?
When it’s so woke and full of easily exploited loopholes that even a district attorney has to go to another state to do it because it’s inadequate for prosecuting a mass shooting at a religious institution.

The unfortunate victim here was the San Diego mosque near where I live. Last May, a couple of local-loser high-school students who blamed ‘Jews’ for all the world’s problems (in their lowlife logic) decided to team up together with their crummy little friend in North Carolina and shoot up a … mosque. They were chased off by three men of unusual courage from the mosque who confronted the maniacs to save a group of children on the mosque center’s playground and they paid for it with their lives.
The two cowards who shot the innocents then ran away and blew their own heads off afterwards (filmed, of course), but they planned it all out carefully with a 16-year-old girl they met online, Sarah Santiago, who agreed to film the atrocities for them, spread them online, and share their ‘manifesto’ of various lunatic ravings, presumably to make them ‘immortal’ and of course, to inspire other dirtbags.
She’s the only one left to charge in the murders, and she will be charged as an adult, not in San Diego, but in North Carolina.
According to District Attorney Summer Stephan, quoted in the San Diego Union-Tribune:
Asked why the girl is not being tried in California, San Diego County District Attorney Summer Stephan did not say whether her office reviewed the case, but noted there is a more direct path to trying a minor as an adult in North Carolina.
“Our system in California would not allow for the same level of accountability in this instance as the criminal system in North Carolina will allow,” Stephan said.
“It would be ideal that all prosecutions related to these hate-inspired killings be handled in San Diego,” she said. “However, it is important that justice be attained for the victims to the greatest extent possible. In this particular prosecution, justice will be served through the court in North Carolina.”
Such wriggly words. What she was saying was that the laws are so rigged for criminals in California, including even mass shooters, so long as they are under 18, that they can pretty much get away with anything they do, and prosecuting them is be a waste of time.

How’s that for justice?
Apparently it’s been going on a long time, and a lot of criminals have been benefiting — cartels, killers, drug dealers, arsonists, gangbangers, the works. So long as they are under 18, they’ve got it made, and Stephan would know the particulars of how those blue-state laws have been modified by uniformly blue state legislators to make the criminals happy.
Stephan seems to have found a workaround through the justice system in North Carolina to get the last perpetrator charged, which while obviously not perfect (recall that the killer of young Iryna Zarutska was found incompetent to stand trial in North Carolina but perfectly fine to be walking around among us, and he avoided jailtime), is nevertheless better than what California has. In California, they can’t even charge a spray shooter ‘muse’ who was a very active collaborator with her two toads after the murders have been committed and the videos have been spread (I saw one of them) because of her age.
I live in the area and have talked to the mosque members. It was traumatic, I noticed that no one in the Muslim-owned grocery nearby on the day it happened that I go to was obviously Muslim as if they were in shock. Meanwhile, the men who died were pillars of the community, one of them a great lover of cats, and another the community cook who always cooked up something good for social events. The guard who was killed was someone who learned how to greet every immigrant in their native language as they came to services, a mosque member named Rahman from Bangladesh told me. He learned words of greeting in Bengali, Turkish, Uighur, Punjabi, Arabic — some very hard languages — just to make the newcomers feel welcome.
If they’re going to get any justice, they’re going to have to rely on North Carolina’s system, because California’s voters have elected legislators so woke and so incompetent they’ve rigged the laws for criminals.
I wonder about whether a double standard has been set in this unusual case as this does seem to break new legal ground.
Can every youth killer be tried in North Carolina now given its working laws, or does a lowlife cabal have to shoot up a mosque to feel the long arm of the law, while every other criminal with comparable crimes, gets away with it for youthful indiscretion? Would the same tactic be used if a group of high-school creeps shot up a church service? I sure hope it would, but thus far, we only see it with the mosque.
What’s obvious here is that California has got to clean up its laws, just as surely as it needs to clean up its streets of vagrant encampments and its voter rolls. No justice here goes hand in hand with illegal bum encampments and rigged rotten elections here. It all has one source and that source in Sacramento has got to be held accountable, too.
