The Democrats’ crazy train just keeps coming, each boxcar a wonderland of leftist lunacy.

Michigan’s swing 7th District has gotten a beaut, a mild-mannered J.D. Vance-looking Democrat named William Lawrence, who all of a sudden has deleted a lot of his tweets. Yeah, it’s a lot of them. Hundreds.

According to Mediaite:

A Democratic congressional candidate is distancing himself from now-deleted social posts in which he cheered for open borders, promoted a Democratic Party “civil war,” and blasted the nuclear family as part of a “violent way or organizing society.”

CNN’s Andrew Kaczynski dropped a KFile report on Friday revealing numerous social media posts made by Michigan congressional candidate William Lawrence under a previous X account.

So now he wants Michigan’s voters to think he’s not a flaming lunatic, but just Mister Moderate, pay no attention to those past ravings he posted with such abandon dating from 2020 and onward.

According to the Daily Caller, here are a few of his pearls of radical-leftwing ‘wisdom’ that he thought it better for voters not read about:

A Democrat nominee for a competitive Michigan House seat, William Lawrence, deleted hundreds of social media posts calling for far-left policies before launching his campaign.

These posts included supporting the abolition of core institutions, including the police and prisons, the Senate, and even called for a “fundamental overhaul” of the Constitution, CNN reported Friday. (RELATED: Somehow Voters Still Hate Democrats More Than Republicans)

Lawrence had also said “f*ck” the nuclear family and called it an “isolating, individualistic, violent way of organizing society.”

Other posts include calling for the nationalization of fossil-fuel companies so that they can be forced to end production, and sharing that he envisioned a “world of free and open migration.”

Mediaite continued its samplings, with this fuller version of his rant against intact families:

“If you have your own home when you’re single, you’ll likely end up with a nuclear family home if you get married/have kids. And the nuclear family home is an isolating, individualistic, violent way of organizing society. I don’t want to be part of that,” Lawrence wrote in a 2022 post, one of multiple rants against nuclear families.

Mediaite focused especially on Lawrence’s apparent hatred for his fellow Democrats whom he considered not extreme enough:

The candidate raged against “timid Dems” speaking out against the more progressive wing of their party.

“Timid Dems better learn how to deal with it and stop blaming us for their own failure to communicate. Or they can leave the Party,” he wrote in 2020.

In a 2021 post, Lawrence encouraged Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) to challenge Schumer.

“AOC primary Chuck Schumer challenge!Leadership have failed their jobs. It’s time for the Dem civil war to rage,” he wrote.

In one post aimed at older generations of Democrats, Lawrence fashioned together some lyrics in 2021 based on a Fallout Boy song that read: “So long, thanks for the memories. Our generation says f*ck you for everything. From these ashes we will rebuild. Hurry up and die so that we can get started.”

Why a butter-faced, bland-looking aw-shucks, ‘hickory-kid’-looking seemingly salt-of-the-earth white guy with a dull Anglo-Saxon name would get into this lunacy is hard to understand, given that most young men in his age group give the backs of their butts to the party of fringe extremists, whose biggest target is white males.

He sort of resembles Graham Platner in this regard.

If I had to guess, it seems he may have been trying to overcompensate to his leftist masters by going off the deep end for them the way Eric Swalwell used to do.

Whatever it was, it’s disgusting, and there’s no doubt it’s what he really believed and was willing to seek power for to enact those beliefs.

Now that he’s been caught and exposed by the press, he claims he was just brainstorming, blaming his generation instead of himself:

“Like many millennials, I’ve done my fair share of thinking out loud on the internet,” Lawrence told CNN. “I’ve been clear that I disagree today with some things I posted in the past; I remain a staunch critic of the political status quo, and the obscene concentration of wealth and power that corrupts our politics and leaves working people unrepresented.”

He’s doing this, obviously, because he’s running in a swing district, Michigan’s 7th, which covers Lansing and a lot of rural areas. If you look at the voting patterns on Wikpedia’s chart, you can see that they swing red, blue, red, blue, red, blue, like a metronome.

They also were the first to elect Elissa Slotkin, an annoying karen-variety deep-state-advocating Democrat, before she moved onto the Senate claimand joined her pretend-moderate Democrats Abigail Spanberger and Mikie Sherill and a couple of others and the 7th district then moved on to a Republican.

That’s obviously something this boob knows. He must realize he should have run as a phony moderate and then taken the mask off to govern as an extremist, instead of running for office as a full-blown crazy. Now he’s trying to cover his tracks.

One can only hope that Michigan’s voters will be wise to this leopard trying to change his spots overnight. We heard him the first time.
