Among the deadly problems gifted to America by Joe Biden’s handlers are illegal aliens who are illiterate in English and often in their own languages. Granted commercial driver’s licenses by blue states, they’re taking a deadly toll on the nation’s highways when they kill Americans with 80,000-pound tractor-trailers because they can’t read road signs or speak English.

They’re doing jobs Americans will do, and until the second Trump Administration, they created a demand for fly-by-night driver’s schools that knew their English illiteracy would be deadly but certified them anyway. So did the driver’s bureaus of blue states, but they knew what they were doing: adding to the death toll by illegal alien criminals of all kinds while allowing them to illegally vote for Democrats. It’s so bad, at least one CDL driver was issued a license with “No Name Given.” Presumably that wouldn’t be possible for an American citizen, but when your priority is flooding the nation with illegals who will vote for Democrats, everything’s possible, even mandatory.
Fox News correspondent Mike Tobin explained in a clip that the Department of Homeland Security shared Monday that the Trump administration “is calling the interagency task force Crossroads of America with a goal of getting unqualified drivers who lack basic skills like the ability to read road signs out from behind the wheels of 40-ton trucks.” You would think that would hardly be controversial, but it is.
DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin “gave an example of a commercial driver’s license issued and for an identity, it just read ‘no name given,’” Tobin went on, “5,000 drivers… failed basic English proficiency tests.”
How could anyone get any driver’s license with no ID, no name, and no English?
Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy explained, according to Tobin, “that the Biden administration allowed truck driving schools to self-certify, some of them lacked trucks or real estate to test new drivers. So 110 of these trucking schools that were allowing illegals to get their CDLs while unqualified, are now shut down. Homeland Security and ICE investigators are looking for more unqualified drivers and schools.”
Consider that. Biden’s handlers knowingly allowed con men to certify commercial drivers without any actual facilities or trucks to demonstrate proficiency. They had to know Americans would die. The only questions would have been how many and where? We don’t know precisely how many simply printed certificates in exchange for cash, but it could easily have been all of them. They had no idea and didn’t care. All they needed was cash and names to print on certificates, or “no name given.”

Secretary Duffy said at a press conference, “This is not a conversation about illegals. You can have that debate, you can have that conversation. All I’m saying is, if you’re here illegally and you can’t speak the language and you’re not well trained, you don’t deserve to be in a big rig driving on American roads, endangering American citizens.”
Of course not, but that was just fine by Biden’s handlers.
As other conservative writers and I have emphasized many times, there are quite a few employers in America who deliberately prioritize hiring illegal aliens because they can pay lower wages, provide fewer benefits, or have worse working conditions and longer hours. As Americans — especially blue-collar male workers — continue to struggle to find jobs, hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens are employed, including in the trucking industry. In the early part of August, federal officers arrested 95 illegal alien truck drivers in Arizona, all of whom had licenses from New York or California.

[Lewie Pugh, executive vice president of the Owner-Operator Independent Drivers Association (OOIDA)]…said OOIDA has spent decades pushing for higher training standards, arguing some commercial driving schools operate like “CDL mills” that can turn out newly licensed drivers in as little as 24 hours. He said the association also supports legislation introduced by Rep. David Rouzer, R-N.C., that would establish a federal minimum behind-the-wheel training requirement for commercial drivers.
Pugh also backs legislation that would codify the Trump administration’s restrictions on non-domiciled commercial driver’s licenses, arguing Congress should make the changes permanent rather than relying on agency regulations that could be reversed by future administrations. He said the previous policy allowed non-English-speaking drivers to rely on translation services during roadside inspections.
Deadly lunacy. With a Congress unable to pass the SAVE Act with 80+% public approval, and Democrats determined to throw open our borders, the prospect for federal legislation to prevent unnecessary deaths is grim.
This is yet another issue that portends America’s decline. If we can’t gather the collective will to take deadly drivers off the road, we may be farther gone than we’ve previously thought. On the positive side, it’s another way to clearly identify America’s domestic enemies.
