It looks like the Dems have at last repudiated Hasan Piker, the anti-Semitic, anti-American Chairman Mao wannabe. So the road is clear, and they can move ahead without any worries, right?

Well, actually, no. To start with, “repudiated” here is subjective at best. Leader of the People’s Party Hakeem Jeffries, when asked point-blank by Wolf Blitzer whether he was in fact cutting ties with Piker, instead went into a long monologue about “the rising tide of anti-Semitism,” the security of “our Jewish brothers and sisters,” and the obligatory insinuation that all “ideological perspectives” were implicated, all without mentioning Piker’s name. (He did mention it once, in passing, when Blitzer pressed him, insisting that he’d opposed Piker “As forcefully as he could.” Righto, Hak.)
The other “repudiations,” by Elissa Slotkin and a handful of nonentities – Josh Gottheimer, Jackie Rosen, and Ritchie Torres — were no better. Clearly, the Dems are less interested in repudiating Piker than they are in just hoping that he goes away, while loaning them his following until November. Slotkin started out strong but went off the rails when she couldn’t resist the now-obligatory pro-Palestinian line –this in a statement supposedly condemning anti-Semitism.
Abdul Mohammed Al-Sayed, who has been working hand in glove with Piker in his campaign, was puzzled by the whole thing. Hasan Piker, if he wasn’t mistaken, was a “streamer” – was that the right word? – out in California, whereas he, Abdul, was up in Michigan, where he was helping people get to the doctor’s office. So what was the question again?

Barely had enough time passed to consider any of this before hard-left harridan Debbie Dingell emerged to undermine the whole effort with a half-demented rant aimed at the real villains. It was all the media’s fault, said Deb. She was tired of talking about Hasan Piker. She didn’t want to hear that name again. “I am done. Don’t any reporter ask me again about Hasan Piker.”
As we all know, this indignant schoolmarm schtick always works. Just look at Geraldine Ferraro, Hillary, or Kamala.
We haven’t even heard from Piker himself yet. There’s no love lost between the Donks and Hasan, whose only dilemma regarding the Democrats is whether to liquidate them right away or take them over first and do that later. Let’s see how long it takes for that massive ego to crack under the pressure.
