President trump has always had a keen eye for appearances, loving beauty and hating ugliness.

So he’s done America a great deed by beautifying our nation’s capital — not just by getting rid of crime, which he did do, beginning when the young DOGE tech engineer who goes by “big balls’ was savagely attacked by unpunished criminals.
Now he’s restoring the capital to its intended beauty, created by the world’s greatest architects, so that all can finally enjoy their creations as intended. Take a look at what he did with these landmarks, going for the full Shining City on the Hill:
D.C. area resident reacts to the Columbus fountain reopening at Union Station:
“It’s so blue! And it’s bouncing off the white marble. I’ve never seen the marble this clean before!”
“Breathtaking!”

Here’s a before-and-after picture of the Columbus Circle fountain, which is most useful:

Here is another ‘before’ picture — defaced, dishonored, damaged by Democrats and their thug allies in recent years. As Nancy Pelosi once put it: People do what they do.
🇺🇸 Columbus Circle at Union Station in D.C. is CLEAN & SAFE again!
This is what real leadership looks like. President Trump is exactly what Washington needed to bring our capital back to glory.

It just tells us a lot about the difference between conservatives and crazed leftists.
The Deseret News reports that it’s part of a Trump masterplan to restore our capital in time for our nation’s 250th anniversary:
The National Park Service is using at least $67 million worth of park entrance fees to help pay for beautification projects in Washington, D.C., ahead of the nation’s 250th anniversary, a new report from The New York Times found.
At the direction of President Donald Trump, the city has undergone expensive renovations ahead of summer travel to the nation’s capital for the anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
Nine of the city’s fountains are being repaired and restored, costing about $60 million, and the other $7 million will go toward the renovation of the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool, the Times found via a Park Service document.
Naturally, the left is complaining, even though these projects were completed on time and under budget. But the broader picture from this relatively minor spending is that everyone gets to enjoy it, it’s not just some NGO and its special interest groups buying jewelry and taking their trips to Europe.
Everyone. And it’s a thing of beauty that ought to be a joy forever — to harken back to John Keats.
