Which was what Florida’s governor, Ron DeSantis noticed when a Nevada secretary of state complained about a recent Supreme Court ruling that allowed President Trump’s executive order on mail ballots only going to verified voters to continue as directed.

According to the New York Post:
The Supreme Court ruled Monday that President Trump’s executive order tightening the rules around mail-in voting can be implemented ahead of the November midterm elections.
The 6-3 decision — with liberal Justices Ketanji Brown Jackson, Elena Kagan and Sonia Sotomayor dissenting — marks a major victory for Trump, but appears to leave room for future legal challenges that could delay the president’s order.
In its ruling, the high court overturned a lower court order that blocked the Trump administration from enforcing the March 31 mail-in voting order in response to a lawsuit filed by 23 Democratic-led states, who argued the directive unconstitutionally infringes on their authority to administer elections.
That’s what prompted the howls from Democrats, who like elections just the way they are since COVID.

The leftist jackass, Cisco Aguilar, was angry at the request by the Trump administration to submit lists of voters on the rolls for verification of citizenship in order to get a mail ballot delivered by the U.S. Postal Service.
For him, it could mean the exposure of illegals on the voter rolls who were immensely useful to Democrats.
Nevada’s voter rolls, after all, haven’t been cleaned in years. So in a mass mail system, ballots go out to dead people, to illegals, to other noncitizens, to people who have moved out of state, to dozens of names listed to one gas station or outhouse as their residence. The ballots go out, the ballots come in, late of course, and nobody knows who got hold of the ballots in time to fill them all out identically for the Democrat and mail them in as the counting continued. On Aguilar’s watch in the past three years, the time taken to count the ballots has gotten very long indeed and has become subject of memes before the Democrat is announced as the winner and he defends this.
And sure enough, Aguilar’s got a skeevy past, having cut his political teeth in Harry Reid’s office as a trusted flunky, and in getting elected secretary of state, seeing Nevada’s elections suddenly turning into long counting affairs, with ballots arriving, until the Democrat wins, just over the line.

“The Supreme Court’s ruling is another attempt to attack states’ constitutional right to run elections and it’s disheartening to see the justices give this executive order the ability to move forward. This ruling does not address the constitutionality of the executive order and we look forward to continued legal fights to prove that states have the right to run elections as they determine,” said Secretary Aguilar. “The midterm election is less than 70 days away, and the President continues to spread lies about our elections and the security of mail ballots. It’s the voters who are getting hurt; not the politicians in Washington. While the administration creates confusion and undermines confidence in our elections, local election officials in Nevada are focused on delivering a safe, secure and accessible election in November.”
But DeSantis and the rest of us heard him the first time — Trump’s election integrity measure — which is supported by 80 percent of the voters — is indeed designed to keep unqualified voters off the voting rolls — such as illegals, which he complains about.

The Supreme Court was vindicated by that response alone.
And DeSantis rightly called him on it. What a boob.
