Should someone represent a place he hates in the Senate?
Such are the questions that come to mind as Democrat grandees fall over themselves to endorse radical Islamofascist Abdul El-Sayed, who won the Democrat Senate primary in Michigan and now wants to be Michigan’s senator.
Here’s what El-Sayed thinks of Mackinac Island, a charming vacation enclave known for its ‘Americana’-style wholesomeness at the northern tip of mainland Michigan.
Mackinac Island may be a treasured institution to many Michiganders, but not to Abdul El-Sayed.

What, exactly, is there to hate about Mackinac Island? Thousands of tourists return to it year after year because it’s so delightful, all American flags and fresh, clean, small-town charm.
This wasn’t James O’Keefe catching El-Sayed at an unguarded moment. This is from a 2020 documentary he had made about himself during his unsuccessful run for Michigan’s governor.
Too bad O’Keefe wasn’t there, though. His undercover reporters likely would have asked him what he hates about it. They also could have asked him which other places he hates? Are there a lot of them? Do they have Jews in them?

Somebody should ask.
But one thing is for certain: Only an absolute toad could hate Mackinac Island — or else a bin-Laden-style Islamofascist who despises all things American and wants to take them out.
Something tells me he’s more of the latter.
Yet this hasn’t stopped Democrats from flocking to his side. Chuck Schumer has endorsed him. Gavin Newsom has decided to go campaigning with him. And Pete Buttigieg, who lives a couple hours’ drive from Mackinac Island, in nearby Traverse City, had only this to say to his fellow Michigan Democrats:

That’s right, El-Sayed insulted his place on the planet and Buttigieg went right on sucking up to him.
El-Sayed seems to know there’s an outcry and is trying to trot around the issue claiming the place is expensive. But that doesn’t mesh with his wealth and his personal vacation spots — in pricey Dubai and probably any other place with a pealing minaret.
It’s disgusting. He should apologize for his disgusting remarks or just get out of the race. Nobody should represent a place he hates. One can only hope the voters catch onto him.
