Coca-Cola has some explaining to do:
Does anyone at Coca-Cola care to explain this? pic.twitter.com/IxSAdkS1T2

As you can see, the website has a feature that allows you to personalize a can—and this man demonstrated that you are permitted to write, “Allah is king” and “Satan is king,” but not “Jesus is king.”

I went to the website myself to see if I could replicate this guy’s experiment, and confirmed his findings. I then tried a few other phrases, one of which was “Christ is king,” and in that case, was hit with the same no-go message:
The name or phrase you’ve submitted is not permitted. Names and phrases may not be permitted if they belong to a business, organization, celebrity, public figure, school, team or other trademark, are religious or political in nature, or could be considered inappropriate or unsuitable for other reasons.
You know what I could write though? Some extremely “inappropriate” and “unsuitable” things, like:

“Stalin rocks.”
“I eat babies.”
“I hate Christians.”
“I hate Jews.”
So Coca-Cola is more offended by the name of Jesus Christ than sentiments like that? Jesus Christ, the man who, depending on what you believe, was either perfect or an inarguably wise and gracious figure in antiquity? The guy who healed the sick and blind, who commanded His followers to “love [their] enemies” and “do good to them which hate [them]”? The same Man who said there is no “greater love” than an act of self-sacrifice for others? His name is verboten, but hateful and disturbing thoughts pass muster?
It’s definitely time to give the soda brand the ol’ Budweiser treatment.
When Budweiser’s marketing team decided to use Dylan Mulvaney as its spokesman, the creepy and flamboyant “trans” individual who was on his way through “girlhood,” I couldn’t participate in the deserved walk-away, because I don’t drink alcohol.
Now, I’m not a soda drinker either, but my 8-year-old is, and on occasion, he’ll get…a Coca-Cola, and this is a boycott I can’t wait to help out with.
