President Donald J. Trump stood in Georgia on July 22 and told his crowd that America has entered her finest chapter. He declared, “So, ladies and gentlemen of Georgia, the Golden Age of America is upon us,” then drove home the pledge to restore power, wealth, health, strength, pride, safety, and greatness.

That statement will draw sneers and fury from those who believe that America is falling apart. They should chill out and examine the concrete results Trump has delivered in the span of a few days. Those results leave no room for doubt about whose policies rebuild the country and whose wrecked it.
On July 21, the White House announced a reciprocal trade agreement with Jordan that strips away barriers long blocking American exporters. Jordan keeps duty-free access for nearly all U.S. goods while opening more of its market to American farm products and vehicles. It also commits to stronger labor rules, intellectual-property safeguards, and joint action against unfair practices by third countries.
The deal already locks in major purchases. Royal Jordanian Airlines ordered Boeing jets worth $1.4 billion plus leases valued at another $500 million. A Jordanian drug maker pledged $1 billion in U.S. investment. Jordanian firms agreed to buy more than $300 million in American raw materials every year.
This is the latest in a string of agreements that expand markets for U.S. producers while demanding reciprocity.
The same day, a new report showed the Working Families Tax Cuts have sustained nearly six million manufacturing jobs. These cuts were signed into law by Trump on Independence Day of 2025 as part of his One Big Beautiful Bill (OBBB). They protected more than $1 trillion in economic output and safeguarded $540 billion in wages across every state.
Full expensing for equipment, research, and new factories is driving investment from Alabama to Wyoming. California alone saw 708,000 jobs protected and $134 billion in output preserved. Texas recorded 547,000 jobs and $107 billion. Georgia preserved 198,000 jobs and $36 billion.
These numbers come from the National Association of Manufacturers. They prove the OBBB is rebuilding industrial strength in every corner of the country.
A day earlier, the president imposed 50-percent tariffs on selected Canadian goods under Section 338 of the Tariff Act of 1930. The measures target discrimination against American cars, alcohol, and dairy. Between last and this year, Canadian imports of U.S. vehicles fell 22 percent, or $5.6 billion, while alcohol imports collapsed 81 percent, or $582 million.
Provinces banned American liquor without similar bans on other nations. Dairy quotas treated U.S. cheese far more harshly than European cheese. The tariffs level the field without touching energy, potash, or critical minerals.

That same day, another proclamation used Section 232 authority to encourage new investment in U.S. aluminum smelters. Companies that commit to build or expand domestic capacity can import primary aluminum at half the usual tariff rate, subject to strict monitoring. Aluminum remains essential for military systems, and U.S. demand still exceeds domestic production.
The step continues earlier actions that protect steel, copper, vehicles, and other strategic industries.
Also on July 20, an executive order tightened rules for defense supply chains. Starting January 1, 2027, most waivers allowing materials from unreliable foreign sources will end. Contractors must map entire supply chains down to raw materials, vet suppliers for financial risk and foreign control, and qualify domestic alternatives or face contract consequences. The order maps national-security vulnerabilities and accelerates testing of new American sources.
These steps arrive after years of damage inflicted by the Biden-Harris administration and the Democrat majorities that controlled Congress for its first two years.
Open borders. Inflation that crushed working families. Energy policies that hobbled production. Trade arrangements that favored foreign competitors. All these things, and so much more, left scars still visible in communities across the fruited plains. Blue cities, states, and counties continue to drag national performance downward. High taxes, violent crime, woke vitriol, and regulatory excess, among innumerable other matters, punish good Americans.
The Trump record shows a different path. Reciprocal trade prioritizes American workers. Revamped tax policy sparks industrial jobs in all fifty states. Tariffs punish bad global actors. New rules secure critical materials for national defense. The results are measurable in employment protected, investment secured, and counterproductive barriers removed.
Republican voters face a clear choice this autumn. If Democrats seize one or both houses of Congress, they will use every procedural tool to stall Trump’s gains. They will fight ruthlessly to restore the conditions that produced the Biden-Harris decline.
Sky-high GOP turnout is imperative. President Trump’s Golden Age assertion rests on actions already taken. Preserving and expanding them requires voters who refuse to hand the levers back to Democrats who spat on the concept of American greatness.
Hopefully, this November, enough concerned citizens will vote their interests.
