Fewer bureaucrats, less oppression. Fewer bloated salaries, less taxes. Fewer donations to Democrats as such things go. And a smaller government means a bigger private sector as the bureaucrats and their paper pushings waxes in inverse proportion to the private sector waning.
It probably shouldn’t startle anyone that the jobs report this week was (surprise!) better than expected with private sector jobs accounting for the lion’s share of the new hiring, which is a big change from the Biden era. It may well be related to this chart created by economist Mark J. Perry.

How many presidents before him have promised to do that — to cut the size of the government — and didn’t? This is a true Trump achievement that unfortunately, is not being coverered and celebrated in the press as it should be.
