Is the Trump administration serious about denaturalization?

One of the most disturbing things about the last many decades is the number of people who have been given green cards or even been made American citizens despite their manifest opposition to the Constitution and laws of this country. The Trump White House contends that it is changing this trajectory, but its first efforts are on such a small scale they’re currently insignificant. That needs to change immediately.

The New York Post reported yesterday that “The Trump administration is ramping up an effort to deport criminal illegal aliens and will be announcing denaturalization actions against 10 of them on Monday…” The Trump administration put its seal of approval on this report:

The Department of Justice filed actions in the past 30 days against naturalized US citizens from Mexico, Cuba, Pakistan, Peru and Poland who were convicted of health care fraud, wire fraud, immigration fraud, child sex abuse and drug trafficking.

The move is part of what administration officials have dubbed the “largest denaturalization effort ever” and includes one of the first attempts to remove a health care fraudster from the US.

“These ten criminal aliens — including child sex abusers, a $900,000 Medicare fraudster, and a cocaine trafficker — lied their way into U.S. citizenship,” said Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche in a statement.

“When you commit fraud during the naturalization process, you forfeit the right to keep your U.S. citizenship,” added Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin. “These criminal aliens, comprised of drug traffickers, pedophiles, and fraudsters, lost that right and exploited our immigration system—harming real U.S. citizens. DHS is committed to ensuring we denaturalize and remove these fraudsters with every tool at our disposal.”

The statute to which the government is referring is 8 U.S.C. § 1451(a), which places upon US attorneys the duty to denaturalize people who “procured [that citizenship] by concealment of a material fact or by willful misrepresentation.”

I’m glad the Trump administration is taking action, but just ten people? Really? There must be thousands or tens of thousands or even millions of people who were lying—that is, defrauding the government—when they took the following oath and promptly violated laws or began to speak out against the Constitution:

I hereby declare, on oath, that I absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state, or sovereignty, of whom or which I have heretofore been a subject or citizen; that I will support and defend the Constitution and laws of the United States of America against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I will bear arms on behalf of the United States when required by the law; that I will perform noncombatant service in the Armed Forces of the United States when required by the law; that I will perform work of national importance under civilian direction when required by the law; and that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; so help me God.

There are lots of promises in there, but I’ll focus on two:

One. To view only the U.S. as their political sovereign. Any attempt to overthrow the U.S. by looking to a one-world government (i.e., DSA-style socialism) violates that oath.

Two. To support, defend, and obey the U.S. Constitution and American laws. Any naturalized citizen who commits a crime should be ripe for deportation. If you’re naturalized, you keep your nose clean. And if you’re naturalized, you don’t argue to end the Constitution—which means that all naturalized DSA members should get the boot because overthrowing the Constitution is built into the platform.

Incidentally, the same standards, only more so, apply to people here as green-card holders. There’s a whole class of deportable aliens, such as those who committed crimes of moral turpitude (all those pedophiles and rapists), have multiple criminal convictions (just check out our prisons), use illegal drugs, engage in domestic violence or sex trafficking, falsely claim citizenship (and that applies to every green card holder who registered to vote), or supports terrorist groups (Antifa is now a designated terrorist group, and the DSA supports Hamas).

Out…all of them.

At the head of the list of deportable non-American-born residents should be Gustavo Gordillo, a Yale-educated, Peruvian-born DSA co-chair for New York City. It’s unclear whether he’s naturalized or not, but this interview makes it obvious that he hates America’s Constitution and laws and is dedicating himself to their overthrow:

Since Gordillo confessed to his statutory violations on television, it shouldn’t even take a trial to boot him; it should all be done on the pleadings, in a pro forma proceeding that takes, at most, thirty minutes.

Also, honestly, Gordillo is way too stupid for America to tolerate. He drags down our nation’s intelligence.

The big question is whether he was stupid when he entered Yale, in which case he is yet another indictment of affirmative action, or became stupid once at Yale, which is an indictment of American academia, especially the Ivy Leagues. Incidentally, despite an endowment of $44 billion (bigger than the annual GDP output of almost half the world’s countries), a freshman needs to pay $97,985 for that first college year, and Yale receives $899 million annually (that’s almost $1 billion) from you, the overworked, overtaxed American citizen.

The Trump administration is on the right track, but it needs to do this thing at scale. There are way too many people living here legally or as naturalized citizens who hate this country and are doing their best to destroy it.
