Wokester weirdness at San Diego’s America 250th celebration

Leftists contaminate everything they touch.

So while we have been hearing news of left-wing weirdness from cities such as Minneapolis, Buffalo, and St. Paul deciding to honor Somalia on America’s 250th, and Long Beach cancelling long-held ‘Big Bang by the Bay’ fireworks show, San Diego’s blue-city almost one-party rulers are always happy to bring up the rear.

I live in this town and here’s the mayor of San Diego, Todd Gloria, looking for all the world like Pee Wee Herman, touting gays as ‘trailblazers’:

Notice the missing flag? Notice the missing words of praise for America on its 250th birthday? As Mister Rogers used to say: I thought you could.

That was in Balboa Park.

Woke as they come, honoring gays, Indians, Pacific-Islanders, Asians, and of course stolen land, with not one word about America or the liberty, the freedom, the rule of law, the Consitution, or the visionary Founders and courageous signers of the Declaration of Independence, who that made this country great. Not one word. Just the usual dull guilt-tripping, in an act which has gotten old.
