In France, Paris’s socialist deputy mayor, Audrey Pulvar, a former journalist, recently said that the U.S. bears “a significant amount of responsibility” for the deadly heat wave gripping France.

Say what?
Yeah, you know, because we use more energy than they do, in part to keep ourselves from dying from summer heat. And more energy use must necessarily lead to greater greenhouse gas production, which we all know leads to global warming/climate change, right?
Europeans also blame the United States for gun violence. But, ironically, in a typical year there are far more heat-related deaths in Europe than there are deaths in America from gun violence. And guns save more lives than they take in the U.S., something that can’t possibly be said about the lack of air-conditioning in the E.U.
Blaming the U.S. for the deaths of Europeans who do not have access to air-conditioning is bizarre and pathetic. Their own overlords are responsible. More Americans die annually from overconsumption of French fries and French wine than Frenchmen are killed by Americans’ use of air-conditioning, the honest total of which would be zero.

Dear French socialists: hold your own reprehensible asshats responsible.
That many hundreds of Europeans are dying of heat unnecessarily is tragic and totally preventable. Europeans should tell their leaders to stop lavishing spending on Muslim immigrants as if they were drunken sailors on shore leave and instead help their own people procure air-conditioning.
What Paris’ deputy mayor said isn’t cool. In fact, it’s bee ess (conneries).
It’s time the United States significantly turned up the heat, for real, on these Euro-weenie leaders and their preposterous lies and slanders.
