For the past few months I’ve seen bot accounts on social media labeled; Leaving MAGA.

Presumably Donald Trump voters who are unhappy with the president and his actions, either pertaining to the economy, or the Iran war. I say bot accounts, for while I accept that there are some voters that may not be in lockstep with the president on any particular issue, that they would “leave” is comical. Where would they go?
Have they suddenly become Democratic Socialists?
The question is really for “old-school” Democrats: Where will you go?
The Democrat party of JFK, Scoop Jackson, and even Bill Clinton is dead.
While their party has become more progressive over the years and some Democrats had accepted the leftward lurch, rocket fuel has now been added to their party’s radicalization. With the ascendancy of Zohran Mamdani as mayor of New York City, and his two endorsed Democratic Socialist acolytes (Valdez, Chevalier) who won primaries this week in New York City, the “old-school” base of the Democrat party is out.
Free Palestine, “hate the Jews”, spread-the-wealth, eat-the-rich, destroy Western civilization is the baseline for the far-Left radical base of the party. Leftist Dan Goldman (of Trump impeachment fame (or infamy)) wasn’t spared, as he didn’t pay enough homage to the “hate the Jews” crowd. Even Hakeem Jeffries is now under threat from within the tent: “You’re next.”
Zohran Mandani, Graham Platner, Bernie Sanders, AOC, Ro Khanna, Elizabeth Warren are the Democrat [Socialist] party standard-bearers.
Every Democrat candidate for office going forward will have to kowtow to this new radical base. Moderation (even sanity) will be seen as weakness.
Are non-DSA Democrats prepared to follow their party leaders into the abyss? Are they prepared to sufficiently “hate the Jews?” Empower the confiscation of private property? Eat the rich? How about “destroying Western Civilization?”
Pundits in New York report that the recent election outcome was intended to send a message to the status quo. The status quo in New York has been a decades-long march of progressivism. High-taxation, onerous regulations, subsidized housing, defund the police, and a massive inflow of “illegal aliens,” burdening an already-burdened social services network. In other words — democratic socialism.
Cloward-Piven mapped the plan in the 1960s. Overwhelm the welfare system, blame it on capitalism, pick at the scabs of discontent (Alinsky) by blaming your plight in life on the oligarchy, secure one-party political power, and then ultimately seizing the means of production. Gulags and re-education camps will follow.
This is the new plan. What say conventional Democrats? Are they down with empowering the state to confiscate private property? How about using their newfound power to expand the court, with a whole new slate of radical left judges? Shall formally MAGA friends be censored and/or locked up for speaking out against those who openly wish to destroy Western Civilization? How many times do you suppose they can squeeze the juice from millionaires and billionaires before the economic activity that they generate comes to a screeching halt? Where will all the “free stuff” come from after today’s new-style Democrats have eaten the rich?
I invite these Democrats to look at America First Republicans. As Dan Bongino often states; “Republicans are not necessarily the solution to your problems, but Democrat [Socialists] are most certainly the cause of your problems.”

We [truly] want everyone to thrive, and are all-too-happy to give a hand-up to those who need it, but Republicans don’t want to create a system that enslaves people to state aid – for votes.
We believe in lower taxes, which historically increases tax revenue. We believe in auditing our state and federal spending and eliminating waste, fraud and abuse.
We believe in safe streets, and school choice. Families and children should feel safe in their communities and should be provided an education that teaches them not only the basics; reading, writing and arithmetic, but civic virtues and America’s founding principles.
We believe in secure borders, with a tall fence and a door. We, not foreign countries nor leftists NGOs. should determine who is (and how many are) permitted to enter our country. We believe in assimilation. E Pluribus Unum (out of many, one). If someone wants to come to America, he must be American. Not white American, or African American, or any other hyphenated-American. Foreign nationals want to come here, they must become Americans. If they hate America, that door swings both ways.
We believe in peace through strength. We don’t want war, but we will (and must) use our military to establish a protective shield against those who wish us harm. Warfare has existed since the dawn of time. We must be vigilant and stand ready to defend America and her interests. If foreigners take glee in our defeat, and/or the death of our brave men and women in uniform, see the “swinging door” reference above.
We believe in life, at conception.
We believe that capitalism is the greatest economic system of all time, and that it has lifted more people out of poverty than all other systems. It is not a perfect system, but no other system “permits” one to achieve the limits of their imagination. Democratic socialism will even out “inequality” but only with poverty for all (except the nomenklatura), the confiscation of wealth from those who have produced and given to those who have not produced. And I might add, it can only perform this leveling once, for as entrepreneurs see that their blood, sweat and tears can easily be confiscated by the state, they will no longer extend the energy to produce.
We believe in fairness in sports, and the safety and protection of girls/women in private spaces. You want to compete as a trans person – create your own league or competitions.
Many of us believe in God, and his Son — Jesus Christ. No one is obligated to “believe,” but we believe, and we also believe that belief in Christ and the tenets put forth in the Bible help to create, along with our Constitution a set of precepts that create the framework necessary for good governance.
So, there it is for the “old-school” Democrats. It is a time for choosing.
Socialism, communism, and the collapse of Western Civilization, or liberty and freedom, God-given rights and an imperfect Constitution chartered to permit a self-governing imperfect populace.
Democrats may think that they want an expanded, all-powerful state, with the power to give and take as “they” deem just. This has NEVER ended well and won’t end well here in America.
