Do leftists ever learn from their mistakes?
Not if they never have to worry about elections in Los Angeles.
A greenie warehouse whose solar panels caught fire seven days ago is still blazing away with the smoke blackening the entire city, rendering air quality in some areas so bad it’s impossible to stay there.

🚨 WOW! A “GREEN ENERGY” fire has reportedly broken out and raged for 6 DAYS, Los Angeles is under a STATE OF EMERGENCY

Man. When was the last time you saw a structure fire going for a week? https://t.co/JLQAPbSpis

The ‘competence’ of the response looks a lot like … what was seen during thee burning of the Palisades and Altadena last year.
The leftist mayor, Karen Bass, same as before, had more important things to do, this time flying out to Chicago for the opening of the Obama Presidential Center.
Karen Bass left to Chicago June 19th btw. After the fire started. Her vacation is higher on her priority list than coordinating resources to fight this fire. Failure as the CEO of Los Angeles https://t.co/GRbrAzVetL

The fire itself is still burning away because they still haven’t gotten around to securing water for the next fire.
And to no one’s surprise, they are calling in reinforcements from other states, places that do know how to fight fires, and whose fire departments have been properly funded.

And yet, when the Palisades Fire hit, it was the Feds who saved Brentwood and Encino, with the USFS providing the lion’s share of air tankers because ANF Fire Chief Garcia kept his tanker base fully staffed all winter while Gavin shut down entire CalFire units for the season. https://t.co/uaVelvjZpV

The scary part is that this is just a structure fire. What happens when there’s a real fire, a wildfire, which can easily take out another neighborhood? And while we are at it, what is the response going to be if there’s an earthquake? Either of these scenarios will happen, it’s just a matter of time. Whose neighborhood goes next?
I know nobody in LA really cared when the Palisades burned. Many cheered! All my campaign, I warned all of LA…it is coming for you, next. I specifically went to Boyle Heights for this. If you think Basura & Bike Lane Lady have a plan to save you…wait til the big one hits. https://t.co/V1WG9PwdWh

I’m not going to dismiss this as voters voting for what they get in the case of Los Angeles, given the amount of likely fraud that happened in that last primary — from bums paid in cigarettes to register to vote or actually vote, to mass rejections of matching ballot signatures in conservative-voting areas, to illegals voting with ease based on dirty voter rolls, to ballots arriving well after election day and all going one way, secured by a hand-dated postage stamping.
But we are obviously seeing two things: A political class so ensconced and comfortable about its divine right to rule, even in the face of massive incompetence that cost it two vast neighborhoods that it feels no pressure to get its act together for the next fire, which is now. The public can protest all it likes, the ruling socialists have the power, they have the Los Angeles Times. they can cover up the post-fire findings such as they did and they have the record of burn and red tape to rebuild. If they can get away with allowing the Palisades to burn with no electoral consequences, they can let any other part of town burn, too, again, with no electoral consequences or for that matter any consequences, it’s all the same to them burned or unburned, but lots of thoughts and prayers.
If you think you’re gonna get a straight answer from LAFD leadership about the Boyle Heights fire that is now going into its 2nd week of burning…this is Karen Basura’s lap-dog fire chief dismissing her editing the Palisades Fire report. If they’ll lie about 12 fatalities, you… https://t.co/aid48LF3tA

If for nothing else, it’s reason enough to call for federal intervention in these elections. Because if the feds and other states have to be called in constantly to clean up this city’s fire and earthquake messes (which will happen and the time is overdue) then it must have a say in how that hellhole city is run. Right now, socialists are in charge and they can’t even put out a building fire.
