The final word has been spoken about Abdul Muhammed el-Sayed al Mizri’s terror connections. It comes from a pretty much unimpeachable source – his own half-sister.

Eman Abdealadi is, as we might have guessed, an associate professor at the University of Chicago. One of the lessons she should consider teaching her students is that social media is forever. Abdealadi, it seems, has left a trail of social media postings detailing her family’s association with the Moslem Brotherhood, progenitor organization of Hamas, one of the most vicious terror outfits on the planet, reviled for the October 7 massacre, along with various bagatelles such as throwing gays and opposition party members off rooftops. These postings have been discovered and published by the Washington Free Beacon. (Be warned that the chances of the Beacon’s atrocious publishing software freezing your screen are about 50/50.)
In 2012, as the Brotherhood came to power in Egypt through the election of Mohamed Morsi to the presidency, she boasted online that “My family had long been MB.” A year later, her tone changed when the Brotherhood was overthrown on July 3, 2013 by Abdel Fattah al-Sisi following a year of abuses and terror. “I have had family jailed for being a part of it… Praying for all my family that supports the #MB in Egypt. Lie low, stay safe”
She also predicted that, going by her conversations with her Brotherhood relatives, “it’s not over.” It’s been over thirteen years. That’s one prediction that went sour.
This stands in complete opposition to just about everything that el-Sayed has said about his family ties to the Brotherhood, Hamas, and Islamist terror outfits in general. It has long been understood that his mother, Elkomy, supported Islamist terrorism through her work with the Islamic American Relief Agency, a “charity” that actually acted as a fundraiser for Islamist terror networks. On the rare occasions when he addressed the matter, it has been to completely deny any such connection, as he did this past weekend both in his debate with Mike Rogers and on “Meet the Press.”

He can’t deny it any longer. Some of his supporters have suggested that it’s Eman’s half of the family that’s involved. Ekomy divorced el-Sayed’s father and then remarried, and it’s that marriage that produced Eman. But this is left-wing wish-fulfillment – it’s Ekomy and her associations that are the key elements in question. It has nothing to do with either of the males.
El-Sayed is at an impasse here. He can’t possibly repudiate his own family, a cardinal sin in the Islamic world. But he can’t simply go on denying what is absolutely obvious to the world at large either. I don’t see how he solves this one any more than he has any of the others. Even the dull and slow-moving GOP should have little trouble putting this material to use.
El-Sayed has had a rough couple weeks. It seems that every other day he gets hit by something worse. I wonder what it’ll be tomorrow.
