October 7, 2026. The third anniversary of the Hamas slaughter of 1200 Israeli and other men, women, children, and babies. Zhoran Mamdani, the Islamist/Communist Mayor of New York City, delivered a brief speech hitting on the usual anti-Israel lies: genocide, apartheid, occupation, shiploads of innocent Gazans murdered, etc.:

That didn’t go well for him. He was widely criticized, but how can anyone who justifies medieval barbarism and evil ever be sufficiently criticized? From where and when will their judgment come?
At least partially on this mortal plane, as it turns out. Mamdani made the mistake of later attending a 10-07 vigil. It didn’t go well for him:
As we reported, New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani spat on those memories with his statement on the day, which was more about remembering people in Gaza and attacking Israel than remembering the victims and the Oct. 7 attack.
So it was perhaps surprising that he showed up at a Union Square vigil for the victims of the Oct. 7 attack.
Even at such a solemn event, anti-Israel radical activists disrupted it, surrounding the smaller vigil crowd. The activists even tried to drown out the announcements of the vigil by banging drums. As we reported, some were even holding up posters of Yahya Sinwar, the Hamas Oct. 7 mastermind who Israel eliminated in October 2024.
But in what has to be a real example of someone hoisted with his own petard, Mamdani was heckled by the protesters.

His usual, smug smirk was gone, replaced by a mixture of “uh-oh” and “how dare they heckle me? Don’t they know who I am?” He never expected that. His speechwriters and aides, and surely Mamdani, thought his speech was more than Islamist enough, more than sufficiently anti-Semitic. They believed it played to guys like this:

They were wrong, and perhaps Mamdani had an inkling of just how wrong.
He forgot the overriding rule of revolution, Islamic, Communist or Democrat: You can never be sufficiently revolutionary. If you’re perceived to be a political enemy, a counter-revolutionary, or displaying insufficient revolutionary fervor, you must be destroyed. The lust for political power, the power of life and death over others, will allow nothing less than the most violently bloodthirsty expressions of hatred and rage, and Mamdani fell short.
The truly revolutionary will always wound the insufficiently fervent and, when the time is right, bayonet them as they lie wounded on the political battlefield.
Even the current Democrat/Islamist “it” boy, Hasan Piker, wasn’t redeeming Zhoran:

Take a moment to reconsider Mandani’s speech. Would any reasonable, sane person think that represented concessions to Zionists?
Pity poor Zhoran. He didn’t become the Muslim Mayor of NYC without the support and approval of Muslim strong men, foreign and domestic. They made investments in him, called in favors, got the approval of Allah, and now they have expectations for him, rigid, unchanging expectations, expectations from Allah. He doesn’t want them—and Allah—mad at him.
Oh, they won’t kill him, at least not now, and they wouldn’t soil their hands with that kind of wet work anyway. They have plenty of Jihadists for that. They might even give him a pass for this one. They might understand that he has to engage in Taqiyya—lying to achieve Islamist goals—which is why he might have soft-pedaled the anti-Semitism in the speech, and that’s what he’s doing when he pretends to be against anti-Semitism. He does need to fool the infidels, keep the useful idiots useful, after all.
But there will come a time when they believe he’s a traitor, and then he won’t go to Paradise and won’t get those 72 virgins.
He also has another, more direct and urgent concern. There are plenty of Islamist true believers who just might think Allah is telling them to slaughter the traitor, the apostate. They’re not getting orders from Muslim strongmen, but directly from Allah. There are also plenty of lone wolf Democrat/Communists out there, and you don’t see either of those coming.
Whether he knows it or not, there are people close to him, perhaps even his wife, who are reporting to those Muslim strongmen. Perhaps that intern? Maybe his speechwriter? How about one of his bodyguards?
Expect him to avoid crowds and take a harder line against Israel and America for a while. Or maybe Zhoran thinks he’s above all that. Maybe his power has gone to his head. Maybe he thinks becoming Mayor of NYC means Allah has anointed him and made him invulnerable.
The Muslim strong men with expectations don’t think that. Neither do the crazies always attracted to this or that revolution.
Poor Zhoran.
