It looks as if Hasan Piker has hit the big time: he was specifically mentioned by no less than Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu during yesterday’s UN speech. (For some reason, Mamdani failed to have Netanyahu arrested as promised. I wonder what happened?)

This occurred during a passage in which Netanyahu addressed concerns for the safety of American Jews, particularly those living in cities such as New York:

“Many Jews no longer feel safe in New York. They talk to me. They tell me, this isn’t the city we remember. It changed so quickly.

Now it’s no wonder. You count as friends people like Hasan Piker, who said America deserved 9/11…”

Piker rose to the challenge with a typical rambling, near-incoherent podcast:

“And every single person kept saying, yeah sure dude… He just hates you organically, it’s not Israel. Where are we at now? Is it normal, ya think, for the f******* prime minister of Israel to mention me at the UN General Assembly…”

The answers to that write themselves. Frankly, Piker seemed a little nervous in this one, as well he might be:

…people have asked in the chat, do you feel that the Israeli government is watching your moves? Yes. And this is perhaps more proof.”

Of course they are. Why wouldn’t they? Israel keeps tabs on anti-Semites worldwide, and Hassan Piker is one of the leading such voices on the internet. In fact, maybe he should be a bit more paranoid than he is already. Since the Holocaust, Israel has shown no compunctions about dealing with Jew-haters in whatever way they see fit.

After the war, there was a mass campaign among Jewish survivors to punish those responsible, one of which we’ll never hear the details, though I, for one, would love to. Jewish prisoners memorized the names and personal info of particularly brutal camp guards and sent hit teams to their hometowns to see to them. It’s largely for this reason that the “ratline” organizations such as ODESSA were set up to smuggle SS personnel out of Europe. One such group, Nakam, consisting largely of Lithuanian Jewish resistance fighters, successfully poisoned 2200 SS prisoners in Nuremberg.

Following that, the Israelis, spearheaded by the Mossad, spent decades tracking down Nazis worldwide. The most notable was Adolf Eichmann, a senior manager of the Final Solution. Eichmann was kidnapped by Mossad operatives in Argentina in 1960, then smuggled to Israel, where he was tried and executed.

They missed Josef Mengele, the Auschwitz “Angel of Death,” but their efforts reduced him to a crazed wreck who spent his nights in a tower attached to his Paraguay farmhouse, wildly peering in all directions into darkness.

Israelis have also shown no hesitation in pursuing Islamic terrorists. The most notorious of these were the gunmen who murdered the Israeli Olympic team at Munich in 1972. More recently, particular effort has been put into hunting down the planners and perpetrators of the October 7, 2023 attack by Hamas. The video footage of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar futilely tossing a piece of wreckage at the Israeli drone closing in is peculiarly satisfying.

This isn’t to say that Piker need fear a visit by a Mossad hit team. But all the same, it might be best for him to take Netanyahu’s speech as a shot across the bow. There are plenty of other ways to make someone’s life utterly miserable, as Piker well knows.
