For the record, President Trump picked an unnecessary battle banning CNN and a couple of other networks from the White House. In other words, the voters have figured out that CNN et al are not fair. At the same time, the self-righteous reaction about “losing their rights” is insane. No one is shutting down TV networks or websites. This is not like Fidel Castro shutting down newspapers or TV stations and “nationalizing” their assets.

No one reflects “hysteria” more than President Obama. who is out speaking again. Let’s hear from Matt Margolis:

Reacting to the news, Obama said, “My imagination could not foresee some of the stuff that’s going on right now. I believe there was just an announcement that the White House decided, you know what, CNN, MS NOW, maybe the New York Times was included, you just can’t come to the White House press briefings anymore because you’re giving the current president unfavorable coverage.”

Obama continued, “I’m trying to think what would have happened if I had said, ‘you know what, FOX News, get out of here.’ It’s unimaginable.”

Except, he actually did.

Yes you did Mr. President. And don’t forget what your DoJ seized phone records from AP reporters and editors, spied on Fox News’s James Rosen and James Risen from the NY Times. And I recall all the talk about banning FOX because they weren’t a real news network. And was President Obama as transparent by answering questions everywhere? No, he was not.

Again, I think that President Trump picked a needless battle, but the other side always reacts in such hysterical fashion that it makes his point.
