One might almost pity James Talarico, who is the Democrat candidate for the US Senate in Texas. OK. You caught me. One absolutely must not pity Talarico. He’s painting himself into a political corner and has only himself to blame. At PJ Media, Scott Pinsker explains:

From NBC News:
The gender gap between men and women has been a durable fact of life in American politics — and nowhere is this gap larger than among the youngest cohort of American adults, Gen Z.
But it’s not just politics driving the divide. The latest NBC News Decision Desk Poll powered by SurveyMonkey shows how the political gender gap persists alongside different social beliefs between young men and women.

Gen Z men who voted for Trump rate having children as the most important thing in their personal definition of success. Gen Z women who voted for Harris ranked having children as the second-least important thing in their personal definition of success.
To put it directly, men in general and particularly Trump voters want to have children and be able to support a family. The horror. Female Democrats want pretty much anything but. They want to be sufficiently wealthy to avoid marriage and children. Pinsker continues:
If politics is a numbers game, then the numbers favor the GOP: There are roughly 268 million Americans over the age of 15. Just 42.7 million are women who’ve never been married. (Another 14.6 million are divorced women.)
By contrast, there are over 136 million married Americans. Married couples — plus all the Gen Z men who aspire to be married — are BY FAR the more important demographic.
Demographics is destiny. Democrats don’t apply reality to themselves, which is why they’re trying to import voters who do have lots of children and who will vote for them.
How does this apply to James Talarico? He’s the young guy who, while wearing a mask—in Texas?—announced his campaign was meatless and would only buy from vegan businesses. He’s the guy who said there are six distinct genders. He, a former seminarian, said Jesus is a radical feminist, and God is non-binary. Those are only a few of his lunatic positions. He is, of course, all for “gender affirming care,” unrestricted immigration, “renewable energy” and every other lunatic Democrat priority.

His advisors have apparently figured out that kind of nonsense isn’t going to work in Texas, probably because his Republican opponent, Ken Paxton, has, to great effect, taken to nicknaming Talarico:

“Tofu Talarico,” “Six-gender Jimmy,” “James Tala-freako” and “Low T Talarico.”
Texans are going to eat that up like brisket and ribs because Talarico doesn’t look all that manly. Talarico also just released this:

I’ll mention only two: Michael Brown and Trayvon Martin, left and right, respectively, in the middle row. They weren’t quite felled by the White Virus.
Brown was the hulking 18-year-old drug user, whose social media was full of thug wannabe imagery, who committed a strong-armed robbery of a convenience store. Stopped by a police officer, he tried to beat him to death, and tried to take his handgun. Suffering a minor graze to one hand, he and his pot-smoking buddy ran, but the officer ordered him to stop. He turned and made a head-down, berserker charge at the officer, who testified it was like fighting Hulk Hogan, and he was sure if Brown got to him again, he’d be killed. He shot Brown, dropping him at his feet.
That was where the “hands up; don’t shoot” hoax originated. It was a lie, and even the Obama DOJ was forced to admit the officer was completely justified, though his career was ended and he remains off the grid.
Trayvon Martin was also a drug user with thuggish social media. He tried to beat George Zimmerman to death, and pinned to the ground, his head repeatedly beaten into a concrete sidewalk, Zimmerman fired one shot from his licensed handgun, killing Martin. After a political trial during which the prosecution behaved like sleazy TV defense lawyers and the defense argued the evidence and law, Zimmerman was acquitted. His life, too, was changed for the worse.
Talarico has since been photographed eating meat, denied ever saying he was vegan, has claimed his comments about God and Jesus were merely being “provocative,” and said there are only two genders, but hasn’t addressed the rest.
His real problem is that if he doesn’t man up in a convincing way and convince male and family Texans he‘s with them, he’s going to alienate them. And if he doesn’t remain a vegan who thinks Jesus is a radical feminist and all the other Democrat lunacies, he’ll alienate those women who don’t want men or children. It’s one or the other, and the families are the easy majority in Texas, even if one is suffering from the White Virus.
