In deference to family readers’ sensibilities, I won’t dwell upon Platner’s most prurient, vile, and disgusting comments about white working people, especially lobstermen; sexual assault victims; a multiply wounded U.S. Army combat veteran; Platner’s affinity with Antifa thugs; and his preoccupations with porta-potties. Just for starters.
All of Graham Platner’s graceful poesy is easy enough to find for yourself. His sexting selfies and alleged serial sexual assaults were finally enough for his major donors, sponsors, and erstwhile future U.S. Senate colleagues to pull up their pants and zip up their wallets, albeit reluctantly.
Still, not enough has been said about Platner’s apparent hatred of Jews, especially his Hamas sympathies. His display of evil Nazi Holocaust body art should have been automatically disqualifying, except for new-age Democrats, who believe antisemitism is the most essential and virtuous among their elitist credentials.
Here’s the real issue, though: Graham Platner was a mere placeholder. He is the Democrat party. What was tick-picked a short while ago by the Democratic Socialists is now the full-blown infectious disease inside the party that once belonged to JFK, FDR, and Harry Truman.
Communism, now a Democrat party litmus test, will be on the ballot, no matter the Dem placeholder. Are new-age Democrats representing only hair-pulling provocateurs? Or, instead, militant and unrepentant anarchists?
Communism has no benign form. It is neither a sophomoric fetish nor merely illiterate therapeutic spittle from countercultural freaks. Shock-of-the-new, political-science, rage-of-consciousness communist manifestos show willful ignorance of its history or, more likely, a deliberate embrace of its horrors.
Cozy coffeehouse commie fashionistas or wannabe Bolshevik barstool bros casually airbrush violent totalitarian suppression of life and liberty, where harboring self-determination is not just a distant abstraction but is forbidden by the state, here and now.
Oh, well, just forgive the stuff of random youthful misadventurism and protests de jour…until the election of the verum ipsum communist Zohran Mamdani as mayor of New York City, where the politics of envy is well underway, quashing public safety, private property, and prosperity.
Democrats smitten with communist nomenklatura casually disown their Ivy League and upper-class progenitors, exploiting working-class grievances to own the seats and levers of power and subjugating the rest of us to the dystopian fruits of their manipulation.

Modeling themselves on the elitist Lenin, who was inspired by the French Revolution’s Jacobins and their Reign of Terror, the Dems, led by Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders, Gavin Newsom, and Ro Khanna, will endorse seizing your bank account, taxing your household and business into bankruptcy, taking your property, including your guns and ammo, commandeering the lives of your children, enlisting your spouse, partner, and neighbors to spy on you, and telling you what to think, feel, and see.
They will flood your neighborhood with criminals, narcotics, and homeless vagrants; elevate squatters over law-abiding citizens; guarantee sanctuary for open-ended immigration from third-world cesspools; and make you pay for it.
You will conform wholly to the will of the state—defined by them. You will barely survive in the shadow of the Soviet/CCP-style secret police, programming you to own nothing and eat bugs, surrounded by disease and vermin, where all means of production are confiscated, human and monetary capital are salted and incinerated, and then the ashes are abandoned, leaving no space to call your own, making certain your life is miserable while they luxuriate in their enclaves.
The Dems’ scapegoats for all grievances are billionaires and Jews. How many billionaires are in Maine? Only one: the heiress to the Dexter Shoe fortune, which, in 1993, employed thousands of Mainers and operated from 1958 until its demise in 2001.
That billionaire, now an elderly philanthropist, Susan Alfond, through her family’s Harold Alfond Foundation, has donated over half a billion dollars to the University of Maine System, the University of New England, Jackson Laboratory, rural Maine health care, and cancer research and has underwritten hundreds of scholarships for Maine students.
After her father, Harold Alfond, sold Dexter in 1993 to Warren Buffett, the business was undermined and destroyed by the exact entity Democrats admire—the Chinese Communist Party—using slave labor, predatory pricing, and the theft of Dexter’s intellectual property.
For the modern Democrat party, from California to Oregon and Washington, to Colorado, to Minnesota, to Chicago, to New York City, and now to Maine, wretchedness isn’t a social construct or a medieval morality play. It is the new communitarian aspirational standard model: universal, inescapable, and rooted in political violence.
And rather than invite and encourage new entrepreneurs to Maine, as Susan Alfond’s father, Harold, did in 1958, the new-age Dems would rather vilify honest work, innovation, success, and generosity.
Who shall succeed Graham Platner? It’s a sure bet: another communist sociopath and antisemite in love with Lenin, Stalin, Mao, Castro, Iranian terrorists, and Mamdani.
