Everyone should celebrate the joys of capitalism and the IPO on SpaceX, but sadly, what we hear from many in the media and other Democrats, is jealousy and hate of Elon Musk for being so rich.

They do not celebrate the over 4,000 workers at the company who toiled for years and are now rich. Democrats would rather have people be dependent on the government and stay poor than have opportunities like SpaceX.
They do not celebrate or care about all the money risked and the innovation that allowed this company to succeed. All they think about is how much money they think the government should get.
Capitalism is why America is the richest and most powerful country in the world—because of capitalism and freedom, not because of a powerful government.
The multiplier effect of capitalism is also phenomenal. The money trickles throughout the economy. It is much better for the economy when companies and individuals are allowed to keep more of their money to save, spend, and invest than to have larger amounts going to the government, subsidizing politicians and bureaucrats and non-producers, before then trickling a fraction back.
Here are some of the people and families who have earned tremendous wealth because they took risks and invested time and treasure into the capitalistic society of the United States.
- Elon Musk and his companies, employees, and investors.
- The Walton family, employees, and investors.
- Mark Zuckerberg, employees, and investors at META.
- All those associated with Google.
- The Ford family.
- The Trump family.
- The Pritzker family.
- The Rockefeller family.
- The Ted Turner family.
- Oprah.
- Taylor Swift.
(Many people and families have also taken huge risks and unfortunately failed, which is just part and parcel of the freedom of capitalism.)

The list is endless and all these people and businesses have created huge amounts of wealth for people throughout the U.S. They have also paid huge amounts of taxes every year. I do not understand why so many Democrats think they are entitled to so much more while these people are alive and when they die. It is a shame so many businesses can’t continue for generations because of death taxes.
And here are some people and families who have gotten very rich because of their connections to government, not risk and innovation.
- Nancy Pelosi.
- Elizabeth Warren.
- Bernie Sanders.
- The Clinton family.
- The Biden family.
- The Obama family.
If anyone wants to see what happens with socialism and communism and how destructive they are, they should just look 90 miles away at Cuba.
After almost 70 years of tyrannical rule by the Castros, the median monthly wage of Cubans is all the way up to $9.76 per month, while the elites flourish. The tyrants keep people poor and unable to move up. That is why so many Cubans try to escape to the United States. It is a shame so many people in Hollywood and other Democrats support Cuba’s communism.
Thank goodness we have Trump instead of Kamala or Clinton as president. He understands that the way to keep America great is to allow people and businesses to keep more of the money they earn, and to celebrate those building wealth for generations of American workers.
