Among the early Trump II initiatives of greatest value to America have been the defunding and abolition of a variety of anti-American organizations. Among them: public broadcasting. Advocates of that parasitical industry would have us believe that before the advent of PBS and NPR, Americans, and particularly rural Americans, lived lives of intellectual poverty. Uninformed, insular, inbred, fearful and tribal, their lives were short, nasty and brutal, a debased state of existence only elevated by public radio and TV.

Since the defunding of those essential public disinformation services, their employees and advocates have reliably informed us that America’s horrible decline may be arrested only by the untimely deaths of Donald Trump and others they hate. That’s their kind of tolerance and inclusion:

In a screenshot shared by the X account, Libs of TikTok, the X account Republicans Against Trump asked in a Sunday post, “Donald Trump turns 80 today. Any birthday wishes?” and Bob Greene, who was identified in reports online as the board chair for Rocky Mountain PBS, replied, which now appears to have been deleted, “A nice stroke that turns him into a drooling, pooping blob in a wheelchair unable to speak.”
I’m sure “Republicans Against Trump” are really Republicans and certainly weren’t trying to provoke assassination porn. I also thought that’s the kind of POTUS Democrats appreciate, but in any case, it’s the kind of insightful social commentary rural Americans can do without. They’re so unsophisticated as to believe merely thinking such things is indicative of severe character flaws. Speaking them is even worse.
On the website for Rocky Mountain PBS, Greene is described as “an experienced senior executive with over 35 years in sales, marketing and operations in the entertainment, interactive and broadband industries” who is “responsible for developing new revenue platforms and partnerships that leverage and enhance the global scale of Liberty.”
Thank goodness those “revenue platforms and partnerships” no longer include unwilling American taxpayers. They’re the kinds of unenlightened Deplorables who fail to see how people like Greene “leverage and enhance the global scale of Liberty” by hoping for the untimely deaths of the POTUS.
And has Greene been denounced or fired? Apparently not:
In a statement to Fox News Digital, a spokesperson for Rocky Mountain Public Media (RMPM) said that it had “only recently become aware of this post in question” and said that it violates their social media guidelines, which state that “Personal views and political positions should be kept separate from the station’s content, and should not appear on any RMPM-operated platform or dedicated page/stream.”
The guidelines also say that “when using the internet or social media in your personal life, please make it clear and conspicuous that all of your statements are on your own behalf and are not RMPM’s. Disclaimers such as “opinions are my own” should be used whenever appropriate.”
But of course. Tsk, tsk. Greene didn’t provide a proper disclaimer. Nothing to see here. Move along; move along. That’s when RMPM really laid into him:

“This post does not reflect the values or opinions of Rocky Mountain Public Media, and this level of discourse is never constructive to our collective efforts to strengthen the civic fabric of Colorado,” RMPM’s spokesperson said.
Colorado’s Democrat rulers are doing a great job strengthening the social fabric of Colorado by turning it into a woke and broke people’s republic. It’s an endeavor aided by Greene and RMPM, thus the wrist slap disclaimer. That’s an offense right up there with bad grammar. The White House was not amused:
“This is clearly a deranged individual who should seek professional help,” White House spokeswoman Olivia Wales said in a statement when reached for comment. “President Trump rightfully defunded PBS last year, and will continue to ensure that taxpayer dollars are not wasted fueling left-wing propaganda but rather leveraged to the benefit of hardworking Americans.”
Yes. A Trump-deranged individual, an affliction of epidemic proportions among Democrats and their media propaganda arm.
We can be sure that should Democrats again seize control of government, public broadcasting will be taxpayer-funded. That will give us the opportunity to debate the wisdom of advocating the deaths and assassinations of Normal Americans and funding our own national demise. That is, until the First and Second Amendments are abolished.
