France is burning. Mobs of communists and Islamists are running wild in riots through the streets. It all began in mid-September 2026 with student protests over conditions in French high schools. These were soon supplanted by a much larger and far more violent crowd of communists and Islamists, well organized and aimed seemingly at the legitimacy of the French state itself.
The crowd at France’s so-called “student” protests waved Palestinian and Algerian flags, and there’s no French flag anywhere in the footage. The demonstrations were supposed to be about better schools in France. Somehow a march for French classrooms needed Algerian and Palestinian banners and had no room for the flag of the country running those classrooms. Far-left activists marched alongside them, giving the rally a “student” label it hadn’t earned.

Across the Atlantic, leaders in the U.S. franchise of “Chaos Inc.” are amplifying the protests. University of California at Berkeley academic Hatem Bazian, founder of anti-Israel Palestinian organizations including Students for Justice in Palestine and American Muslims for Palestine, shared videos from the protests.

The European unrest is also receiving sympathetic amplification from a network of pro-communist organizations, including BreakThrough News, CodePink and the Party for Socialism and Liberation, funded and supported by Neville Roy Singham, an American-born tech tycoon who lives in Shanghai and has expressed support for “new world order” of the Chinese Communist Party and Chinese President Xi Jinping.
Singham, it should be noted, has spent hundreds of millions of dollars to bring Chinese communism to the West.
For its part, the Wall Street Journal ends its column with a warning.
France is in a violent democratic funk, and it will probably get worse. Don’t think it can’t happen in the U.S. given the current state of American politics.

Let me break down what I’m seeing and hearing here from DR. I don’t know DR’s source for these materials , but they appear completely legit and are profoundly disturbing. These are leading members of the Democrat Party hatching up the following strategy: 1. After the midterms, use the DSA to incite and carry out violent civil unrest. 2. Make the violent civil unrest so bad that Trump must invoke the Insurrection Act. 3. Use the invocation of the Insurrection Act to create a national sense of illegitimacy whereby Democrat governors appear justified in taking the extreme action of refusing to acknowledge federal authority and push to form a new form of federal government via various means, including an Article V transformation of the Constitution. Maybe there is more to this and it’s not as bad as it seems, but right now this appears to be a conspiracy to create the next Fort Sumter. This is a CIA-style color revolution in real time, on our own soil. (Of course the legacy media is nowhere near this–it takes us Internet randos to get the word out.)

As Professor Glenn Reynolds recently warned regarding Senator Elissa Slotkin’s threat of leftist lawfare aimed at making show trials of conservatives, it is this “kind of thinking that is bringing America closer to civil disorder, if not outright civil war.”
If and when civil war happens in the U.S., it will pit American patriots on one side, fighting for liberal democracy, Jacobins on the other, fighting for socialism, autocracy, and atheism. If not else, it will resolve, once and for all, the great competition of history since 1789: the American Revolution versus the French Revolution.
