The Giggling: Mamdani whoops it up with AOC at 9/11 memorial as victims’ names were being read

Sure he sounded pious.

After 9/11 victims created a petition asking New York City’s current Marxist-Islamist Mayor Zohran Mamdani not to come to the 9/11 remembrance memorial on the 25th anniversary of the attack, and were joined by 100,000 others, Mamdani came to the event anyway. He was going to be there whether the victims liked it or not.

He even made this seemingly decent speech

Which was notable for its absence of the ‘whataboutism’ he normally employed in his past 9/11 remarks.

But comes time for the memorial itself, and the solemn reading of the 2,753 names of those who died in the monstrous attack, and here’s what he had for them:

It was sickening. It happened as victims wept over the names of their friends and family members.

He couldn’t sit still for that long? He thought this was a fine time to share a joke with a political ally, and laugh out loud as the mourning was happening?

All that piety projected in that actorly way of his, hoping to fool them this time around as doubts were expressed, and still, he couldn’t conceal how he really felt.

Mamdani obviously felt nothing for the victims, and didn’t have a moment of his valuable time to hear their names read, because he had some giggling to do with a fellow DSA member, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

Clearly, he had nothing but contempt for the New Yorkers whose lives were destroyed by this heinous Islamist terrorist act that changed America forever — and yet still wanted to co-opt that event with his presence.

For some, it reminded them of this travesty from another guilty party who was putting on the tears and flapdoodle for the public in the moments earlier:

But I wouldn’t be surprised if it was intentional, maybe even planned, hoping to get a rise out of the victims of the attack, who didn’t want him there, or worse still, to cause them pain — imagine being one of the family members of the names being read just as the giggling started, and done in the least intentional-appearing, or deniable, way possible. He had to have known he would be on camera, he’s a big-league pol who’s been at this for years and couldn’t have not known.

How’s he going to explain himself now, given that the entire country is disgusted? Anyone with that little respect for the victims, occupying the same mayor’s office as the great Rudolph Giuliani, who was a portrait in courage and resolve in the billowing rubble of the towers’ collapse, telling the sly Arab prince-billionaire, Alwaleed bin Talal, who wanted to link his $10 million WTC donation to Palestinian grievances, to keep his damn check.

They don’t elect mayors like that any more in New York.

Now they’ve got a giggling creep who can’t stop laughing with his pal as the 9/11 victims’ names are being read out in their memory.

It just goes to show how right the 9/11 families were to not want Mamdani anywhere near the memorial to their loved ones. They knew he’d find a way to insult them and it was an outrageous way indeed.
