It wasn’t supposed to work out this way. A cycle of mass shootings was to be the vehicle for candidates like Abdul El-Sayed to call for a tweaking of the Constitution to get rid of the 2nd Amendment altogether. Because the right of self-defense is always their first target, they use the alleged scourge of mass shootings to take away rights, as they quickly did in Virginia. But things aren’t working out quite like they planned.

Gun-grabbing ghouls lurking in the shadows prefer to sit like black widow spiders, silently waiting for news of a politically exploitable tragedy, immediately seizing upon its raw emotions to get new incremental restrictions on our rights, and returning to the shadows, waiting to strike once again. The point was never safety or solving the problem; it was the eventual elimination of the right entirely.

Naturally, their media comrades play right along, promoting these purveyors of schoolhouse terror while pretending that they know nothing of the well-established psychological phenomenon of the media contagion effect. Purposefully promoting the names, images, and demented writings of these mass murderers has the effect of encouraging the next attack of this type.

But then the rarest of rarities started appearing when they weren’t supposed to ever exist in the known universe: the good guy with a gun. According to the fiction of a good guy, armed citizens weren’t supposed to be able to stop these shootings. Their very existence challenged the .

Yes, according to national socialist media sources, citizens who carry don’t exist. The American fantasy apparently has no basis in reality. The lefty brain trust at Vox pushed for peak absurdity with a piece entitled “A child can’t be a ‘good guy with a gun,’” as though anyone has ever suggested that.

It’s all a myth according to them, a phenomenon that makes four-leaf clovers and unicorns look commonplace in comparison. A chimera akin to a communazi who knows the basics of economic theory.

These nonexistent heroes, who keep on appearing everywhere, are the scourge of the school shooter and those “inadvertently” promoting them—the ghouls themselves. The veritable good guy (or gal) with a gun upends the whole “hero” antihero genre and media contagion cycle altogether with a self-defense-positive news story that leaves a bitter taste in their mouths.

Instead of being able to drone on and on about the mass-murdering miscreant, complete with endless repetitions of the “alleged” murderer’s name, image, manifesto, and profile details, gun grabbers and their ghoulish media minions must talk about how a gun was useful in stopping evil dead in its tracks.

Even worse, this short-circuits two different phenomena that explain how the ghouls exploit these tragedies. The first is the media contagion effect, the fact that all this wall-to-wall media coverage has been shown to encourage copycat attacks within an average of 13 days. The phenomenon has also been documented by researchers.

But here’s a question the ghouls never seem to ask: If bad guys can be inspired to copy other bad guys, why can’t good guys be inspired to copy other good guys? If wall-to-wall coverage of a mass murderer can encourage the next monster, couldn’t celebrating a courageous armed citizen inspire the next hero? Media contagion doesn’t have to be a one-way street. Instead of encouraging the next killer, perhaps we ought to be encouraging the next citizen who’s willing and able to stop one.

The second is a lesser-known but still important fact that emotions only run high for four days after one of these shootings. This is why the ghouls act fast in trying to take away our common-sense human rights—they only have a few days to exploit the situation.

It also explains their suspicious snap polls with a vague question and a yes-or-no answer, which they can later fill in with the false assertion that 90% want a specific policy proposal that was never in the poll.

Except that these plans are thwarted by the ever-rarest of rare appearances of an ordinary citizen carrying (and according to the ghouls, no one ever does that; trust them on this). All the ideation, careful planning, and, of course, manifesto writing go for naught because no one remembers the miscreant mass murderer who was stopped dead in his tracks by a hero with a handgun.

Consider what happened on October 15 at Silver Rail Elementary School in Bend, Oregon. A teenage gunman had already murdered three children and a teacher when another teacher tackled him, and an armed parent, Kaylub Giamanco, intervened and shot him dead. Police credited their quick actions with preventing further casualties. The killer had a shotgun and more ammunition, but the good guy had a gun, too—and the killing stopped.

The good guy with a gun is lauded, and the mass murderer is forgotten. And instead of an argument for gun confiscation (because honestly, that’s their bottom-line objective), the discussion becomes the polar opposite, lauding the 2nd Amendment and the common-sense human right of self-defense—something they loathe.

Gun-grabbing ghouls are then deprived of their political exploitation fix, and when the proper hero is lauded by the public, perhaps other would-be heroes will take inspiration from his actions rather than other would-be killers taking inspiration from the murderer—truly a “tragedy” for the ghouls and a win for freedom.

It’s to the point that even the American Pravda has noted the danger and is trying to get ahead of it, saying that even though it has happened several times, it’s still the rarest of rarest of rare events, if ever there were a rare event in the history of mankind.

Hence the reason this is nightmare fuel for the gun-grabber ghoul: it not only disrupts the media contagion cycle and shows that they are liars when they deny the reality of defensive gun use, but it also reverses years of anti-freedom propaganda.

While they made the usual perfunctory exploitation calls and demands for gun laws in this latest case, Democrat candidates like Abdul El-Sayed didn’t push the point too much, lest they stir up unneeded pro-freedom opposition.

But rest assured, if they win, they will exploit the next “serious crisis” to the hilt because that is always the freedom they go after first. Make no mistake: socialists cannot stand the people being armed and able to resist their tyranny, so that will be their first priority if they grab power. That is guaranteed.
