In addition to his patriotic eloquence, the optics were stunning. Not to detract from his message of political import, but take a gander at the lovely conservative ladies directly behind the podium. They are smiling, waving, and rejoicing in America. They are happy, and they know it, so they clap their hands.
Now contrast that to the ugly and dour audience that the leftists attract.

The list goes on, but that’s the gist of it, and it’s easy to find many corroborating examples. Generally, comely conservatives take care of themselves; homely socialists are more slovenly as they slurp at the government trough.
American-loving conservatives are comfortable in their own skin, and their inner warmth glows infectiously. They share their audacity of hope, because America is indeed the last great hope of Earth.
Socialists are joyless even in large gatherings because their misery loves company. We already knew that, but a picture is worth a thousand words.
