Former\u00a0New York Times<\/em>\u00a0columnist\u00a0Paul Krugman<\/strong>\u00a0argued the United States needs to go through a \u201cde-MAGAfication\u201d process after President\u00a0Donald Trump<\/strong>\u00a0leaves office, just like Germany went through a Denazification process following World War II.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe really need to do a thorough purging of the United States,\u201d Krugman said. \u201cWe need a de-MAGAgfication, and I am not going over the top by using a word that is very similar to the Denazification that we pursued successfully after World War II in Germany.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Oh, Krugman has gone so far over the top even supplemental oxygen won\u2019t help him.<\/p>\n

\n

\u201cThat came a moment after Krugman said the U.S. needs to \u201cobviously\u201d make sure Trump fans are blocked from positions of power once the president exits the White House. \u201cWe need to de-fang Trump as much as possible,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

And just how would this be accomplished? Would Democrats outlaw\u00a0the Republican Party, perhaps allowing only the most radical Marxist\/Islamist candidates to run for and hold public office? And what would be the penalty for violating such laws? Twenty years in prison? Death?\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n

Krugman continued complaining about Trump\u2019s America, saying it is a \u201cnightmare beyond even the worst fantasies.\u201d He added the country is doomed to repeat the horrors of the Trump administration, in his view, if Americans \u201cwhitewash\u201d this part of history.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf we don\u2019t do something beyond just getting rid of Trump, it\u2019s going to happen again,\u201d Krugman warned.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Oh dear. What, exactly, is going to happen again? The DOJ and the rest of the federal government won\u2019t be weaponized against Normal Americans? Taxes and regulations won\u2019t be ruinously increased? Unnecessary federal jobs won\u2019t be eliminated? Untold billions in fraud won\u2019t be rooted out and prosecuted? The First and Second Amendments won\u2019t be eliminated? America won\u2019t reap hundreds of billions in tariffs in America\u2019s favor? There won\u2019t be unprecedented trillions in foreign investment in America? Real incomes won\u2019t go up, and unemployment won\u2019t go down? NATO nations will no longer pay what they\u2019ve agreed to pay in defending themselves and the alliance? Everyone and their dog\u2014actually\u2014won\u2019t be able to vote anymore, \u201ceveryone\u201d including illegal aliens and the dead?\u00a0<\/p>

America won\u2019t stop Islamic madmen from getting and using nuclear weapons? America will have to elect sane, mentally sound presidents? DEI won\u2019t be forced down Americans\u2019 throats, and children won\u2019t be transed? Trans won\u2019t be exposing their fake breasts on the White House lawn anymore? Roads and bridges won\u2019t be racist anymore? Abortion won\u2019t be a state-regulated choice, but a national mandate? The fountains in DC won\u2019t be full of bird poop and debris, and the monuments won\u2019t be covered with graffiti? And the insane homeless won\u2019t be pooping and pissing everywhere they haven\u2019t left needles? Americas\u2019 borders won\u2019t be closed and immigration law enforced? The stock market won\u2019t be regularly setting records? Inflation and interest rates won\u2019t be low? That\u2019s what Krugman doesn\u2019t want to happen again?<\/p>\n

Krugman has long been an over-the-top Trump critic, which provoked this 2025 Truth Social blast:<\/p>\n

Is Krugman speaking figuratively, or is he stopping just short of calling for the \u201cpurging\u201d\u2014forcible deprogramming or deaths\u2014of Normal Americans? Would he and the rest of the Democrats stop with putting them in camps, as a recent, failed Democrat candidate advocated for America\u2019s Jews, or would a more final solution be required? After all, figuratively nuking them from orbit would be the only way to be sure. On the other hand, does America really need all those annoying red states? Wouldn\u2019t America be better off without all that MAGA?<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve often wondered, considering the contemporary Democrat Party and the antics and rhetoric of its leaders and their street thugs, whether it is possible to live with such people? Unlike Krugman, I don\u2019t remotely suggest de-Democrating them or imprisoning or assassinating them. I only question whether it\u2019s possible for people who clearly hate America, Americans, and the Constitution to coexist with people who don\u2019t?<\/p>\n

To be fair, Krugman is only repeating, very thinly veiled, what the Democrat Party is saying out loud these days. They, and he, want a single-party state, and they\u2019re more than willing to do whatever is necessary to get it. With that kind of determination, nuking Nebraska isn\u2019t off the table.<\/p>\n
