How is it possible that eleven people, nine women and two men, were willing to absolve Lindsey Clancy for the murders of her three young children, apparently on the grounds that she was in the throes of a postpartum psychosis?\u00a0<\/p>\n

Not one of the psychiatrists or psychologists who saw her days leading up to the murders had seen any signs of this rare and particular diagnosis.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

She did have thirteen different psychiatric medications in her home, but few, if any, were found in her blood after she survived her jump from a second story window of her home.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

The facts of the case are by now well-known to everyone who took an interest in the trial.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Clancy admitted to killing her children.\u00a0\u00a0The investigation turned up her Google searches and phone calls. She checked on exactly how long it would take her husband to get to the restaurant from which she had ordered food and to pick up Miralax from a CVS.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Does this not scream premeditation?\u00a0\u00a0Her husband called her while on this errand.\u00a0\u00a0He spoke to her and said she sounded busy but normal.\u00a0\u00a0And still, those eleven jurors wanted to set her free.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

What has become of what was once the Judeo-Christian values that for at least two-hundred years solidly undergirded this nation?\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Gone but not forgotten.<\/p>\n

There have by now been virtually hundreds of true-crime podcasts recorded and mabe thousands of articles written about this case from a variety of perspectives, many of them defending Clancy.\u00a0\u00a0The throngs of women who have gathered outside of the courthouse in Plymouth in support of Clancy are, to most of us, a mystery.\u00a0\u00a0They\u2019ve been raising money for her defense, posting videos on TikTok of themselves threatening to hurt their children.\u00a0\u00a0Women all over are pledging their loyalty to her, admitting they often feel like killing their own kids!\u00a0\u00a0There was perhaps a copycat murder of a two-year-old a few days ago.\u00a0\u00a0It is as if this horrific illness is contagious among this particular group of women.\u00a0\u00a0Can they all be mentally ill, suffering from some sort of mass psychosis?\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

If so, what explains its origin?<\/p>\n

The brilliant and inimitable James Woods posted a picture that perhaps explains it all:\u00a0\u00a0Gloria Steinem on the left, Lindsey Clancy on the right. Steinem celebrated abortion as the number one key to women\u2019s freedom and happiness.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

She was wrong, of course, but she was a force of disdain when it came to marriage and motherhood.\u00a0She urged women to forego marriage and children for what she saw as a higher calling \u2013 lonely, child-free independence.\u00a0\u00a0Millions of women took her at her word only to regret their choice and to start having babies in their forties if they were able.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Steinem\u2019s prescription for women was, in the end, misery.\u00a0\u00a0Lindsey Clancy chose marriage and kids and was fortunate enough to have a career as well.\u00a0\u00a0And still, she suffered from seemingly all manner of depression in its various forms.\u00a0\u00a0Her unhappiness led to her strangling her own beautiful kids.\u00a0\u00a0She then tentatively cut her wrists and neck and jumped from a second story bedroom window.\u00a0\u00a0She became paralyzed from the fall, woke up and said she needed a lawyer.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

First thoughts of a woman who has murdered her own kids in a psychotic rage?\u00a0\u00a0Probably not.\u00a0\u00a0Her first thoughts, if she were remorseful, would have been \u201ckill me now. I cannot live with what I\u2019ve done.\u201d<\/p>\n

The one juror who refused to let her off the hook is a hero to most people who live in the real world in which one must be accountable for one\u2019s actions.\u00a0\u00a0The shock to the rest of us in that real world is, well, a shock.\u00a0\u00a0How did those eleven people all cave to the woke notion that criminals are victims and victims are oppressors?\u00a0\u00a0Clancy clearly felt oppressed by her children.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

This is the now-institutionalized playbook of the woke left.\u00a0\u00a0Those ladies in pink are essentially a cult of wokery:\u00a0\u00a0What is wrong is right to them and what is right \u2013 accountability for one\u2019s crime — is now wrong.\u00a0\u00a0They are of the cult that calls for the destruction of the nuclear family, the erasure of gender, the stupid belief in \u201ctoxic masculinity\u201d that has successfully made male-female relationships fraught with anxiety.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Is it any wonder?<\/p>\n

Somehow, the Clancy jury consisted of eleven people unable to think critically, unable to identify evil when it stares them in the face, and unable to deviate from the mob, those other ten jurors.\u00a0\u00a0Their group decision to find her not guilty was perhaps like being on any college campus and unable to say out loud that there are only two genders.<\/p>\n

The fact that the vote was eleven to one means the state may choose not to retry Lindsey Clancy out of fear of another hung jury.\u00a0\u00a0No one can predict now if there will be another trial, a plea agreement or if she will remain in the mental institution where she has lived since the murders until a doctor says she is \u201ccured\u201d and free to go.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Obama and Biden-appointed judges are freeing murderers almost on a daily basis, especially if they are in this country illegally, so it would surprise no one if Clancy was simply released to live her sad, empty life on the outside. If that happens, it will be forever on the consciences of those eleven jurors who gave no thought to those three dead children.\u00a0\u00a0The one man who retained his honor and voted guilty is, once again, a hero in an era during which heroes are rare and are truly brave.\u00a0\u00a0He should know that he is being celebrated by millions of Americans who still remember and adhere to those Judeo-Christian values.<\/p>\n
