Roosevelt\u2019s landslide victory. \u00a0Back then, she couldn\u2019t get into a Republican-controlled country club, but the Donkey welcomed her. \u00a0He was far from perfect; he was sometimes seen in a and a hood, and he had re-segregated the federal civil service a mere 23 years previously.<\/p>

She overlooked it when the Donkey sent the Jews on the Saint Louis<\/em> back to Europe to be killed in the Holocaust. \u00a0When some of his friends like Bull Connor \u00a0and George Wallace stood in the schoolhouse door with police dogs and fire hoses to keep black people out, though, she steered him in the direction of civil rights. \u00a0\u201cIn some ways, civil rights became a way to define one\u2019s Jewishness.\u201d \u00a0The marriage had its rough spots, but it was largely successful ever since \u2014 at least until the past ten or twenty years.<\/p>\n

The Donkey began to hang out with a new crowd of people, a very bad crowd. \u00a0His new friends included Rashida Tlaib, Ilhan Omar, Abdul El-Sayed, Zohran Mamdani, and some unsavory people in New York City, Minnesota, and Michigan. \u00a0He made a Black Lives Matter director, Minyon Moore, chair of his 2024 National Convention. \u00a0BLM, a black nationalist (per its own website) and antisemitic (denies the right of Israel to exist) entity, supports convicted terrorist Rasmea Odeh. \u00a0Odeh murdered two Jews with a bomb and tried to murder emergency responders with a second bomb, but the Israelis found the second one in time. \u00a0BLM also said that convicted cop-killer Assata Shakur, and the murderous Cuban dictator Fidel Castro, should both \u201crest in power.\u201d \u00a0He invited other anti-Israel, if not flat-out antisemitic, friends to his 2024 National Convention. \u00a0He dressed in a Palestinian keffiyeh to fit in with his new friends. \u00a0His new friends gave him drugs riddled with antisemitic poison.<\/p>\n

The Jewish voter didn\u2019t feel safe around the Donkey\u2019s new friends, not safe at all. \u00a0Michigan attorney general Dana Nessel said, \u201cI feel like my presence isn\u2019t going to be welcome. \u00a0I don\u2019t want to get chased around. \u00a0I don\u2019t want to get harassed. \u00a0I don\u2019t want to get yelled and screamed at. \u00a0I don\u2019t want to get booed off the stage, irrespective of what I\u2019m saying. \u00a0And I believe that if I go, that is what will happen because it\u2019s been happening to me.\u201d<\/p>\n

The fact that harassment of any person because of that person\u2019s race, ethnicity, religion, or sex does not result in the immediate removal of those involved from Democrat events tells us everything we need to know. \u00a0If rabbis have to ask the Democrat party to protect Jewish attendees, there should be no Jewish attendees and no Jewish Democrats. \u00a0Nessel comes across like the battered spouse who is unwilling to leave her abuser.<\/p>\n

Maybe the Jewish voter should have seen it coming sooner. \u00a0In 2006, the Donkey hitched up with MoveOn.org whose moderated Action Forum hosted vicious antisemitic commentary, including the slur \u201cJew Lieberman,\u201d along with anti-Catholic hate speech such as \u201cthe Catholics are raping your children.\u201d \u00a0MoveOn\u2019s moderators knew about it, and their community voted widespread approval of the hate speech in question. \u00a0Barack Obama\u2019s moderated discussion forum (2007 time frame) included antisemitic material as well, along with a moderator\u2019s suggestion that people use \u201cIsrael lobby\u201d as a substitute for \u201cJewish lobby.\u201d \u00a0Obama\u2019s pastor, Jeremiah Wright, spewed anti-Israel hatred and, like Hasan Piker, implied that the U.S. deserved 9\/11 (\u201cAmerica\u2019s chickens are coming home to roost.\u201d). \u00a0The Jewish voter should have definitely seen it in 2023, when the Donkey did little or nothing about antisemitic harassment at major universities and in the streets of places like New York City. \u00a0The Donkey also consorts openly with Al Sharpton and his National Action Network. \u00a0Sharpton helped turn New York City into 1938 Germany for Jews on two occasions (Crown Heights riots, Freddy\u2019s Fashion Mart).<\/p>\n

One day, the Donkey came home to the Jewish voter in a drunken rage, muttering incoherently about \u201cjustice in Palestine.\u201d \u00a0He was in his keffiyeh, and he held an empty whisky bottle with a Palestinian flag on it. \u00a0He slapped her face, slammed her into a wall, and yelled \u201cZionist!\u201d along with an offensive word for a female dog. \u00a0To be more precise, \u201cThis summer, a majority of the Democratic U.S. House caucus \u2014 including two members of the North Carolina delegation, Deborah Ross and Valerie Foushee \u2014 voted to end aid to Israel.\u201d \u00a0Israel is not our country, but it\u2019s the closest thing to our country in the Middle East. \u00a0Unlike its neighbors, it has equal rights for all people, just as we do.<\/p>

A few of the Donkey\u2019s friends stepped between them and said, \u201cDon\u2019t hit your lady.\u201d \u00a0Blue Dog Josh Gottheimer (D-N.J.) wrote, \u201cToday, too many Democrats are noticeably and shamefully silent when antisemitism comes from the far left \u2014 at a moment when the Anti-Defamation League is reporting a surge of antisemitic incidents in the past three years.\u201d \u00a0The Donkey shoved Gottheimer,\u00a0 Ritchie Torres (D-N.Y.), and John Fetterman (D-Pa.) aside and said, with the Palestinian flag whisky slurring every word, \u201cDon\u2019t tell me how to run my house!\u201d \u00a0The Donkey took a swing at Fetterman but was so drunk that he fell over and landed on the floor.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat did I do wrong?\u201d the Jewish voter wondered while she cried and nursed her bruises. \u00a0\u201cMaybe he will love me again if I falsely accuse Israel of genocide, like Brad Lander did in New York.\u201d \u00a0Lander effectively got on his knees and begged the Hamas-supporters to accept him if only he would carry their water, and they treated him like dirt anyway. \u00a0The Jewish voter imitated Lander, and also made haste to acknowledge her white and Jewish privilege.<\/p>\n

It didn\u2019t do any good. The next time, the Donkey slammed his fist into her mouth by standing behind Zohran Mamdani and Abdul El-Sayed, and with 100 of his friends voting to cut military aid to Israel. \u00a0Jewish Insider adds, \u201cHouse Democrats overwhelmingly voted against a bill that would strip federal funding from colleges and universities engaged in boycotts of Israel, with just 33 Democrats supporting the measure.\u201d \u00a0\u201cWhat did I do wrong?\u201d the Jewish voter wondered again.<\/p>\n

What she did wrong is obvious. \u00a0She didn\u2019t walk out the first time he hit her, regardless of how long they have been together<\/em>. \u00a0Many Jewish former Democrats, such as Alan Dershowitz and Pennsylvania jurist David Wecht, have done exactly that. \u00a0If Dana Nessel had any self-respect, she would as well.<\/p>\n

The battered Jewish voter looked past her partner of ninety years to see an Elephant. \u00a0He wasn\u2019t the same Elephant who didn\u2019t welcome people like her into his country clubs decades ago. \u00a0His friends now included people like her. \u00a0There were, in fact, people of all races and ethnicities, the American melting pot. \u00a0The Elephant was using his fists on college antisemites. \u00a0\u201cThe Republican-majority chamber voted 237-169 \u200cin favor of the \u2018Protect Economic and Academic Freedom Act,\u2019 which would have \u2060to pass \u2060the Senate in order to become law.\u201d \u00a0All but two of the Elephant\u2019s friends in the House voted to support this legislation, whereas only 33 of the Donkey\u2019s friends did.<\/p>\n

The Jewish voter realized that the Donkey she had married ninety years ago was no longer the same Donkey. \u00a0He had become a domestic abuser, and she was no longer safe under his roof. \u00a0It was time for a divorce. \u00a0She would have to think about whether she wanted to live alone as an independent or take up residence in the Elephant\u2019s tent, but at least a clear path to a safe future was in front of her.<\/p>
