The second Trump Administration has had great success in forcing the medical profession to abandon chemical and surgical mutilation of children, though several notable multi-million-dollar civil verdicts against doctors and hospitals have helped convince the owners and physicians at leftist hospitals to abandon a formerly lucrative \u201cservice\u201d to mentally ill children and their equally handicapped parents.<\/p>\n

Still, Normal Americans often can\u2019t fathom why Democrats embrace such a destructive, evil ideology with such pseudo-religious fervor.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Doug Schoen\u00a0is a Democrat\u00a0lawyer,\u00a0political analyst,\u00a0author, lobbyist, and political commentator. He has worked for Bill and Hillary Clinton, as well as other Democrats, and can now often be found on Fox News. He\u2019s well qualified to explain the inexplicable:<\/p>\n

\n

Alongside advocating for an agenda that is radical in its drive to reshape America \u2013 and is broadly\u00a0unpopular\u00a0\u2013 the DSA\u2019s influence has left Democrats on the wrong side of an issue that the party has been hobbled by in the past: transgender policies.<\/p>\n

Simply put, the DSA\u2019s strong\u00a0opposition\u00a0to legislation banning biological males from competing in women\u2019s sports has come to define where the national Democratic Party stands, much to its detriment.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Unsurprisingly, Democrats, some of whom are trying to back away from the DSA, share the DSA\u2019s TSN delusions, and are aggressive about rubbing Normal Americans\u2019 faces in it.<\/p>\n

In Florida, Republican gubernatorial candidate Byron Donalds has made transgender issues a central line of attack against Democrat David Jolly, including Jolly\u2019s position on gender-affirming care for minors. Jolly disputes Donalds\u2019 characterization of his position.<\/p>\n

Moreover, in Massachusetts, during a debate against incumbent Democratic Sen. Ed Markey, primary challenger Rep. Seth Moulton was forced to reverse himself and\u00a0walk back\u00a0comments he made just two years ago.<\/p>\n

At the time, Moulton\u00a0said, “I have two little girls, I don\u2019t want them getting run over on a playing field by a male or formerly male athlete.”<\/p>\n

Fast-forward to their 2026 debate earlier this month: Moulton walked back his phrasing, apologizing to the trans community for any pain caused while insisting his underlying goal was to encourage open debate within the party.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Democrats caught in insupportable and simply insane positions often claim they\u2019re merely trying to start a \u201cconversation.\u201d Their default response to such \u201cconversations\u201d is: \u201cShut up, you racist!\u201d<\/p>\n

\n

Analyses of the 2024 election compellingly suggest that this could well have played a decisive role in the outcome.<\/p>\n

The DNC\u2019s post-election\u00a0autopsy\u00a0“determined [Kamala] Harris had no answer” to “Republicans\u2019 very effective advertisements” highlighting Harris\u2019 position.<\/p>

Further, according to one PAC\u2019s\u00a0analysis, then-candidate Donald Trump\u2019s “Kamala is for they\/them, President Trump is for you” ad was so effective that it shifted the race almost 3 points in Trump\u2019s favor, double his 1.5 percentage-point margin of victory in the popular vote.<\/p>\n

The Trump campaign also\u00a0pointed\u00a0to the ad\u2019s success with suburban women, a key demographic.<\/p>\n

Even among Democrats, support for allowing transgender athletes to play on teams that align with their current gender identity has dropped 10 points since 2021, now sitting below a majority, at 45% \u2013 despite party leadership\u2019s embrace of the position.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Why would they embrace such an unpopular policy? I was about to ask why they would embrace such an evil policy, but that would be redundant.<\/p>\n

\n

To that end, neither\u00a0Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer\u00a0nor House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries has been willing to take specific positions aligning with popular views favoring bans on transgender athletes competing in women\u2019s sports.<\/p>\n

Schumer has been the most explicitly opposed to the bans,\u00a0calling\u00a0them “despicable,” while Jeffries has been more measured, simply\u00a0saying\u00a0that Democrats care about “fairness in sports” but refusing to support legislation seeking to bar the practice.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Some of this is surely Democrats\u2019 reflexive opposition to everything Normal Americans value, worsened by their knee-jerk opposition to everything Donald Trump supports. Trump Derangement Syndrome is a debilitating, often politically terminal disease.<\/p>\n

\n

Put another way, the far left\u2019s and\u00a0DSA\u2019s veto\u00a0over Democratic policy puts the entire party on the wrong side of another key issue. And unfortunately, all signs point to this problem continuing to be a drag on Democratic support in the midterms and into the 2028 presidential election.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

I\u2019ll have to disagree with Schoen\u2019s \u201cunfortunately.\u201d Democrats\u2019 support for morally insupportable, anti-American, and destructive policies is fortunate indeed for the electorate. It gives Americans the opportunity to see the Democrat\/DSA Party at their clearest, most exposed, and violent core. They\u2019re for the permanent mutilation of the bodies and minds of children. They\u2019re for the destruction of women\u2019s sports and injuries to their bodies and minds. They\u2019re for doing whatever they can to harm America and Americans.<\/p>\n

As with our Islamist enemies, it\u2019s best to take them at their word and act accordingly.<\/p>\n
