Democrats are increasingly desperate to back away from DSA Communists. On the one hand, they need DSA Islamist\/Communists to win if they\u2019re going to take back the Senate, and they\u2019re insanely desperate for power. On the other hand, if they don\u2019t back away, they might not win those Senate seats. So, some Democrats are picking and choosing a few DSA policies they think they can rhetorically support. They do support them all, except maybe abolishing the Senate, but they\u2019re desperate. Among those they unquestionably support is packing the Supreme Court.<\/p>

Enter Jonathan Turley, a George Washington University Law Professor. Turley is no Republican, but he\u2019s a solid defender of the Constitution, the rule of law, and traditional American sanity. That means he opposes court-packing and its latest proponent, the inventor of the infamous and thoroughly discredited climate \u201chockey stick,\u201d Michael Mann. Turley explains:<\/p>\n

University of Pennsylvania Professor Michael Mann\u00a0is the Vice Provost for Climate Science, Policy, and Action and has pushed candidates to commit to major environmental reforms. Notably, he seemed to pivot in an interview with Peter Dominick on a podcast last week, calling for all Democratic candidates to face a litmus test on committing to pack the Supreme Court: promise to pack or get the sack. It is only the latest example of how the hostile takeover of the Court is now the priority for many Democrats in removing a barrier to a radical agenda.<\/p>\n

Mann declared:<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen it comes to Senate races, there should be a litmus test,\u201d Mann said. \u201cIt isn\u2019t just good enough to be a Democrat. You\u2019ve got to be a Democrat who would be willing to expand the Supreme Court\u2026There\u2019s no way not to be partisan. There\u2019s no way not to be political here. If you care about the environment, you\u2019ve got to vote for the Democrats now.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

So much for Democrats not wanting to pack the Court. But why is that so important to them?<\/p>\n

\n

Years ago, Harvard professor Michael Klarman laid out a radical agenda to change the system to guarantee Republicans \u201cwill never win another election.\u201d However, he warned that \u201cthe Supreme Court could strike down everything I just described.\u201d Therefore, the court must be packed in advance to make these changes possible.<\/p>\n

That includes an agenda for extreme measures ranging from wealth taxes to reparations to climate control regulations.<\/p>\n

That radical agenda is the platform of the DSA, the same platform some Democrats are trying to distance themselves from.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Mann has been having a run of bad luck lately:<\/p>\n

Why was Mann\u2019s jury award overturned?<\/p>\n

\n

The court later learned that Mann\u2019s defense team had allegedly presented false accounts of his losses after the criticism. Mann\u2019s legal team was accused of presenting a chart that listed a grant that Mann allegedly lost due to the defamatory remarks as $9.7 million when it was later found to be worth $112,000. Irving also found a disparity in the grant income figures given to the jury.<\/p>

The court found the alleged misrepresentations to be \u201can affront to the Court\u2019s authority\u201d and sanctioned Mann and his legal team \u201cfor bad-faith trial misconduct.\u201d After reversing the jury verdict, the court\u00a0ordered\u00a0Mann to pay $1.1 million of his critics\u2019 legal expenses.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Mann, who is calling for Democrats to jettison anyone who won\u2019t swear to pack the Court, hasn\u2019t let a little thing like being reversed and losing more than a million to dent his capacious ego.<\/p>\n

\n

Mann joins a growing list of figures demanding the hostile takeover of the Court from\u00a0Kamala Harris to Pete Buttigieg. The priority is telling. Much of what is planned by the far-left will be difficult to accomplish due to constitutional limits. You can remove those limits by eliminating an independent Supreme Court and turning this essential institution into a federal version of state courts packed with partisan jurists.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Many Democrats argue that court packing is necessary so that the Court will reflect public opinion. That\u2019s a stunning failure to realize the Court was established to protect the Constitution and uphold the rule of law. Justices are appointed for life, so they can ignore public opinion. Turley concluded:<\/p>\n

\n

Mann and others (including\u00a0former Attorney General Eric Holder)\u00a0are done with any pretense: \u201cThere\u2019s no way not to be partisan. There\u2019s no way not to be political here.\u201d In other words, it is time to make the Supreme Court itself partisan and political. It will then be reduced to just another partisan institution in an age of rage.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Make that another Democrat\/Communist partisan institution, a creature of their long-planned revolution.<\/p>\n
