Islamists, according to a couple of social media posts we will examine, define a woman as that half of the human race that has a vagina, and further, that it is there to be penetrated at will.<\/p>

Leftists simply can\u2019t define what a woman is.\u00a0 Their perceptions on a whole host of other things are twisted as well, and we will explore them forthwith.<\/p>\n

What is clear is that radical leftism and ordinary Islamism are evil and must be defeated.\u00a0 Below, we\u2019ll analyze a few examples of why which recently crossed my social media wake and left me slack-jawed.<\/p>\n

What the below posts make obvious is that we really do live in alternate realities from the left and Islamists.\u00a0 Our perceptions of things, our definitions of things, are so different as to be not merely oil and water but oil and\u2026 granite. At least oil and water are both liquids.\u00a0 We can\u2019t even get close enough for that.\u00a0 And if we are to survive as a free people, we need to understand one another.\u00a0 We have to agree on certain things being true\/not true.<\/p>\n

Is there gravity?<\/p>\n

Yes.<\/p>\n

Do we observe it here on earth?<\/p>\n

Yes.<\/p>\n

Stuff like that.\u00a0 Basic stuff.\u00a0 We must mutually agree on the basics if not for reasons of mutual detente, then for oppositional defeat.\u00a0 Given that we can\u2019t even seem to agree on what a woman is or is for, defeat \u2014 that of us over them \u2014 is the most rational goal. Here is but a small sample of the kind of twisted thinking we are dealing with.<\/p>\n

That kind of thinking came from the Islamist mindset on display in the X post below. The Islamist speaking presents as twisted a definition of \u201cfreedom\u201d as you will ever hear.<\/p>\n

He actually makes the argument that if a woman chooses not to wear hijab, that that is her \u201cfreedom\u201d of choice so it is therefore his \u201cfreedom\u201d of choice to rape her.<\/p>\n

He actually says:\u00a0 \u201cHow can [she] be free and he not be free?\u00a0 How can freedom be for [her] and not for us?\u201d\u00a0 The English translation in the video\u2019s captions was clunky and unformatted, so I did the best I could to provide a full transcript (emphasis is mine):<\/p>\n

[W]hy is it that the person who wants to harass women, to commit rape, you do not give him freedom?\u00a0 You must give him freedom, right?\u00a0 He himself has chosen to harass everyone to whomever he wishes.\u00a0 This message is the same comment that you see [referring to a post on his phone]. It is the comment that was posted under the hijab post.\u00a0 It says [he reads from his phone] people themselves chose to come out this way. [End of reading.] Well this is saying, sir, it\u2019s freedom then.\u00a0 How do you see your freedom? \u00a0You don\u2019t see the freedom of someone who likes to rape someone else.<\/strong> \u00a0Oh how do you say there that the law must stop that but if there is a law for your behavior so that you don\u2019t come out naked and bare either.\u00a0 Don\u2019t come out half-naked with a short manteau and a top and shorts and things like that.\u00a0 This shouldn\u2019t stop this one but stop the one who is, for example, committing rape, creating harassment, go stop him.\u00a0 How can you be free and he not be free?\u00a0 How can freedom be for you and not for us?<\/strong> Actually, I also want to come out with my family,\u00a0you are taking away our freedom\u2026.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

I think it\u2019s fair to say we have two comprehensively different definitions of freedom.\u00a0 I think it\u2019s also fair to say we have two radically different minimum thresholds for acceptable behavior from men in civilized society as well.\u00a0 His is, quite frankly, savage.\u00a0 Barely above that of an animal, if that.<\/p>

Another bit of unreality I came across this morning was from a purely American leftist point of view. And like our Islamist friend above, this lefty\u2019s assertions were gravity-defying.<\/p>\n

You\u2019ll be unsurprised to find it came from The New Republic magazine, as reliably a lefty sewer as there is.\u00a0 I made the unfortunate choice to click on a link to it and boy howdy, was it an experience to read.\u00a0 Someone should have warned me to bring my wings and an oxygen mask as I spent so much time in the outer atmosphere.<\/p>\n
