When did California become a Muslim state?<\/p>\n

California Democrats are advancing legislation that would formally <\/em>recognize two Muslim holy days<\/em> as state holidays and create special authorization for public schools to teach about their history.<\/em><\/p>\n

Meanwhile, nearly 12 million Catholics live in California, yet the state\u2019s education code contains no comparable holiday-specific provision inviting officials to develop model curriculum exercises addressing the religious significance of Christmas, Easter or Good Friday<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The legislation referred to above is Assembly Bill 2017, which would add Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha to California\u2019s list of official state holidays. The bill already passed the State Assembly by a 64-1<\/em> vote and now must pass the Senate and return to the Assembly for \u201cconcurrence\u201d before it could be delivered to Gov. Gavin \u201cSlick\u201d Newsom.<\/p>\n

If AB 2017 is ultimately signed into law, it would also allow K-12 public schools and community colleges to close for the holidays if local governing boards and employee unions agree, and permit public schools to conduct exercises \u201cexploring the history\u201d of Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha.<\/p>\n

You can bet those explorations will be positive in nature. I doubt we could say the same about exercises in \u201cexploring the history\u201d of Christianity. If there were<\/em> any. Separation of church and state, you know. But, increasingly \u2014 and terrifyingly \u2014 there is no separation of Islam<\/em> and state. There apparently is no longer separation of Girl Scouts and Islam<\/em>, for that matter. But, hey, what goes better together than young girls and Islam, right?<\/p>\n

Twenty-five\u00a0years after 9\/11 — when things were falling, burning, and raining down <\/em>on residents — it’s come to this.<\/p>\n

New York City is ruled by a Muslim mayor. And things are looking up<\/em> if you are a Muhammadan. Even if you happen to be looking down while praying on the streets of Brooklyn or Manhattan or Dearborn. Usually when a country is invaded and told its must change its beliefs, economic and political operating systems, and mores, the invaders pay a heavy price. But in this case they have been handed the keys to the city \u2014 and likely the nation.<\/p>\n

But back to California, where another bill is set to force big companies to disclose their historic links to slavery. This bill recently cleared the state legislature and is now headed to Slick\u2019s<\/s> Gov.\u00a0Gavin Newsom\u2019s desk. He has until Sept.\u00a030\u00a0to decide whether to sign it or veto it. I have a better idea: how about forcing your Democrat Party to disclose its<\/em> lengthy links to slavery, Slick? After all, though \u201cDr.\u201d Fauci wasn\u2019t really science, Democrats really were slavery.<\/p>\n
