Talarico is talking with Pete Hegseth, now the war\u00a0secretary, about his ridiculous views opposing voter identification. Talarico\u00a0looks for all the world like Jim Carrey in ‘Dumb and Dumber’ which might explain why Democrats hollered about Hegseth being unfit for the secretary of war office, given that he spent his time talking with the likes of this twerp, forgetting that he was their own.<\/p>\n

And Talarico’s views were\u00a0a little more extreme than just saying he was against voter identification, which, as Elon says, opens the door to fraud. He\u00a0actually said this:<\/p>\n

That is a measure that’s supported by more than 80 percent of Texas’s voters, which would include many Democrats who just want fair elections given the widespread dominance of Republicans in the state, a reasonable position. Note that in that ‘every fiber of my being’ speech that he also opposes any poll watchers, insists that they will suppress voters and ‘at least have’ required training. He also wants federal voter fraud penalties downgraded to misdemeanors from felonies.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Obviously, he wants a California-style rigged system with no scrutiny whatsoever of open doors to vote fraud.<\/p>\n

Sen. Ted Cruz, who supports Talarico’s opponent, Republican Senate nominee Ken Paxton, laid out the scope of the problem, bringing up California, too:<\/p>\n

The argument that people don’t have or can’t get identification is such a weak one, such an open door to rigging it sounds utterly hollow. Voters on both sides know this. and yet he manages to garner around 50 percent of the voter support, running neck and neck with Ken Paxton, in what Cruz says will be an expensive and hard-fought race. How can someone with views this unpopular (and this is not his only unpopular view, he’s also big on\u00a0jailing people for posting memes).<\/p>\n
