Socialism is a joke, and everyone knows it. So, conservative cable news (which is to say, Fox News) needs to stop putting \u201csocialism doesn\u2019t work\u201d on an endless loop. Everyone knows it\u2019s never worked and never will.<\/p>

Working-class people know that a \u201859 Chevy Bel Air is considered a late-model creampuff in Havana, so they\u2019re not voting for socialism. Even blue-haired Democrats and overeducated, DoorDash DSA-ers know socialism will destroy America. In fact, for them, that\u2019s the whole point because their deranged hatred of Trump has driven them so insane that they\u2019re keen to annihilate America to finally destroy him and his Deplorables.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s as if an exhausted and despairing Wile E. Coyote has finally run through all but one of ACME Inc.\u2019s catalog of vengeance and destruction. Blackened and still smoking from the most recent attack on his oblivious nemesis, he slowly picks up his tattered ally and flips to its last page.<\/p>\n

And there it is: Strangelove\u2019s<\/em> Doomsday Machine. The Coyote smiles, appreciating its awful simplicity. He now sees with crystalline clarity that the only way to destroy that wretched Roadrunner is to blow up the whole world. He picks up the phone and dials 1-800-ACMEINC.<\/p>\n

Like the Coyote, the Democrats are down to their last scheme to obliterate Trump: socialism.<\/p>\n

They\u2019ve tried accusing Trump of being a Russian agent, inciting an insurrection, and referring to neo-Nazis as \u201cfine people.\u201d They\u2019ve tried to bankrupt him in civil proceedings and imprison him in criminal ones. Banned him from social media. Impeached him twice and tried to knock him off the ballot numerous times. And, of course, people on the Democrats\u2019 side of the aisle have tried to assassinate him again, and again, and again.<\/p>\n

But, like the Roadrunner, Trump thrives, barely aware of his enemies\u2019 maniacal efforts to destroy him. And by thriving, he\u2019s driven the Democrats mad to the point of joining forces with terrorist apologist Hasan Piker\u2019s civilization-destroying Democratic Socialists of America.<\/p>

The DSA\u2019s insurgency is an irresistible force in the Democrat party. About a third of Democrats now identify as Democratic Socialists, and almost 60% view socialism positively. House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries has officially included the DSA in the Democrats\u2019 \u201cbroad caucus.\u201d<\/p>\n

Piker\u2019s whole message to the Democrat establishment can be summed up in two words: Stop lying. And to the Dems, the very idea is a cosmic revelation.<\/p>\n

Until now, lying was the Democrats\u2019 strategy, complete and entire. Lie about your Leftist beliefs during the campaign; govern like a Soviet apparatchik but lie about it; and rely on your lying, lickspittle media to protect you from electoral consequences.<\/p>\n

Piker\u2019s argument is that the Democrats don\u2019t control any of the three branches of government because their kingdom of lies has collapsed; people have finally seen through it. He says it\u2019s time for Democrats to stop lying about moving to the center while campaigning. Instead, they should roll out their ACME Inc. weapon of last resort: Tell the truth about themselves and their intentions. And the truth is that the Democrat party despises America and wants to destroy it by turning it into a socialist hellscape.<\/p>\n

Freed by their newfound candor from the burden of pretending to be centrists and having to carefully avoid all but the fluffiest interviews, Dems\/DSA-ers now go on Fox News(!) and modestly proclaim a new American Founding: abolish the borders and ICE, close prisons, defund the police and the Pentagon, seize the means of production and abolish private property, abolish the Senate, the Supreme Court, the Electoral College, and, while you\u2019re at it, the presidency.<\/p>\n

Our democratic freedoms can\u2019t coexist with socialism. So, by embracing socialism, the Democrat party has placed our freedoms squarely on the ballot in the midterms and beyond. The question is, are the rest of us willing to surrender our freedoms because Democrats can\u2019t handle theirs?<\/p>
