As of August 17, 2026, there is no evidence of criminal charges, or a police investigation. Facts still matter, even when the target is a Democrat.<\/p>\n

Who is this guy? Withers rose to prominence in 2024 as the 19- or 20-year-old star of Jubilee<\/em>\u2019s viral \u201c1 Woke Teen vs. 20 Trump Supporters\u201d spectacle, which racked up millions of views.<\/p>\n

He quickly became a fixture on the progressive influencer circuit \u2014 TikTok, YouTube, X\/Twitter \u2014 appearing at political events and earning a glowing profile in GQ magazine, where the fawning left-wing interviewer described him as a college philosophy student who debated conservatives into submission.<\/p>\n

Yeah right. Any published American Thinker contributor \u2014 even me \u2014 could have mopped the floor with this kid single-handedly, before that first cup of coffee in the morning. Their \u201cone weird trick\u201d is that Withers deliberately cherry-picked the 20 dumbest conservatives he could find, and deliberately steered the debate into the comfort zone of Dean Withers.<\/p>\n

Buoyed by this fawning press, Withers co-founded the \u201cWhite Dudes for Harris\u201d effort: the Democrat party\u2019s attempt to peel white male voters away from Trump in 2024, which failed spectacularly.<\/p>\n

An interesting biographical detail: Withers admitted he once held conservative views before swinging hard left, which probably happened when he became immersed in the indoctrination camps known as \u201cuniversities.\u201d<\/p>\n

In a 2024 interview, he described growing up in Grand Junction, Colorado, and embracing what he now calls bigoted beliefs. Withers also acknowledged that old screenshots containing racial and anti-gay slurs were authentic, and offered the usual boilerplate apology. In other words, he did the familiar progressive conversion narrative: a former sinner, redeemed by the light of St. Barack.<\/p>\n

Now come the sexual-assault allegations. They appear to have broken on Sunday, August 16. International Business Times UK<\/em> reports that claims are circulating on TikTok and X\/Twitter, accusing Withers of inappropriate sexual conduct with minors.<\/p>\n

The allegations involve multiple men, who say they were underage when sexual interactions allegedly occurred. Social-media posts include purported screenshots of private messages.<\/p>\n

Withers has categorically denied the allegations, of course, and insists the screenshots are fabricated. The controversy apparently peaked during an emotional livestream in which callers confronted Withers. He became visibly distressed and ended the stream while crying.<\/p>\n

Anyone who spent the last 40 years watching the left\u2019s selective outrage machine, and their pendulum swinging between \u201cBelieve All Women\u201d and \u201cNuts and Sluts,\u201d should recognize the pattern.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Democrats are the Party of Double Standards\u2014and this is where the hypocrisy meter starts spinning. For decades, the same progressive ecosystem that elevated Withers treated every unverified allegation against conservatives as settled fact, beyond a reasonable doubt, requiring immediate professional destruction.<\/p>\n

\u201cBelieve All Women\u201d was the slogan \u2014 until the politics shifted. Suddenly process, verification, and the presumption of innocence become important again when the accused is a DNC TikTok darling (something conservatives have always maintained). One set of rules for the Democrats\u2019 useful politicians, donors, and influencers; another for Trump, and every Republican.<\/p>\n

And they\u2019ve spent the past 40 years bouncing between these two sets of rules like a ping pong ball.<\/p>

First came the Clarence Thomas hearings, when we were instructed to \u201cBelieve All Women.\u201d<\/p>\n

Then came the allegations against Bill Clinton. James Carville invented the \u201cNuts and Sluts Defense\u201d to defend him.<\/p>\n

Then came the Brett Kavanaugh confirmation hearings, and suddenly, we were told to \u201cBelieve All Women\u201d again.<\/p>\n

Then came the sexual harassment allegations against Andrew Cuomo (D-NY), and the Democrats and their media mouthpieces went back to, \u201cSometimes women lie about these things.\u201d And don\u2019t forget Tara Reade, the longtime Democrat who accused Joe Biden of inappropriate sexual contact, and was implied to be a Russian asset.<\/p>\n

Even though no one from Jeffrey Epstein\u2019s Pedophile Island stepped forward and accused Trump, photos of Trump with Epstein (both fully clothed), surrounded by pretty young girls, are supposed to be enough to \u201cprove\u201d that Trump is a pedophile.<\/p>\n

Of course, we\u2019re also told that every word E. Jean Carroll says is true, even though it\u2019s essentially a carbon copy of a Law & Order: Special Victims Unit<\/em> script from the 1990s.<\/p>\n

But when allegations were made against Graham Platner, no Democrat believed them. CNN and MS NOW were carefully ignoring the scandal, or downplaying it.<\/p>\n

Until another woman came forward who was a leftist, accusing Platner. Then, all of a sudden, \u201cPocahontas\u201d Warren and Bernie Sanders pulled the plug on his Senate run.<\/p>\n

Are you getting whiplash yet?<\/p>\n

It needs to be said that conservatives, who spent most of the past half-century watching the left weaponize unproven allegations, should be the last people to abandon due process the moment the target wears the other side\u2019s jersey. And thankfully, we hold to our principles.<\/p>\n

At the same time, the left\u2019s selective silence about Dean Withers is instructive. Whenever the accused is one of their own rising stars, the so-called \u201cnews media\u201d minions who once demanded instant cancellation, and resignation or impeachment, suddenly discover caution and the words \u201calleged\u201d and \u201cunverified.\u201d<\/p>\n

The American people have grown tired of this double standard. We noticed it during the Lawfare Decade (2016\u201325), particularly 2024. We noticed the selective \u201cBelieve All Women\u201d campaigns, and the endless media smokescreens. Voters rendered a verdict in 2024. Another one is coming in 2026.<\/p>\n

In the meantime, treat the Withers claims for what they currently are: online allegations, denied by the accused. That is not \u201csiding with predators.\u201d It is simply refusing to play the left\u2019s ever-shifting game of selective outrage.<\/p>\n

We shouldn\u2019t lower ourselves to the gutter level of the left-wing fringe, or its mouthpieces in the media.<\/p>\n
