In interviews, Healey talks about her devout Irish Catholic mother, Tracy Healy, who attends daily Mass. Her mother, of course, was raised in the pre-Vatican II Church, when being Catholic had a far more solid definition than it does today. After Vatican II, many Catholics like Maura Healey devolved into cafeteria Catholics, ignoring Church doctrine and essentially subscribing to the notion that individual conscience was every person\u2019s \u201cHoly See.\u201d They became cultural Catholics or, as Satanist Aleister Crowley would say, \u201cLove God and Do What Thou Wilt.\u201d<\/p>\n

I only just learned that Healey was a lesbian. (Note: My first experience with a lesbian was when I was 20 and lived in Boston. That\u2019s when a frantic, stranded young lesbian \u2014 a dead ringer for Joan Baez \u2014 asked if she could crash in my apartment. She was stranded in the city and needed a place to stay, so I invited her in and took her out to breakfast in the morning.) Now, a major part of Healey\u2019s gubernatorial campaign platform was women\u2019s rights, reproductive rights, something you\u2019d expect of a feminist, but most especially from a lesbian who has always been a lesbian and who has never, as far as I know, experienced the ethos of true motherhood, which would include the birth of a baby. (Healey is a \u201cstepmom\u201d to her lesbian partner\u2019s children.)<\/p>\n

Healey\u2019s face, if you look at it closely, resembles something of a dried parchment, or an arid map a world away from flesh and blood of birthing motherhood.<\/p>\n

Her Lieutenant Governor, Kim Driscoll, is described as having no religion, but she was once the mayor of Salem, Massachusetts, site of the infamous 1692 witch trials. Driscoll was Salem\u2019s mayor from 2006 to 2023. While mayor, she advocated for the official exoneration of Elizabeth Johnson Jr., the last remaining Salem conviction from the witch trials.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs a Catholic, I think about what we were taught about making sure that we look after those around us \u2014 that we pay particular attention to those who are the most vulnerable among us,\u201d Healey told Politico in 2024.\u00a0<\/p>\n

By \u201cvulnerable,\u201d she meant people born in poverty, not fully developed babies about to be murdered at nine months.\u00a0<\/p>\n

She further amplifies her delusions:<\/p>\n

It\u2019s true that I\u2019ve taken very strong positions when it comes to standing up for LGBTQ+ equality, to standing up for women\u2019s access to reproductive health care, to supporting abortion rights in this country, and I believe very strongly in all of those. To me, it doesn\u2019t make me any less of a Catholic or detract from my relationship to my faith.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

On the surface, what we have here is a kind of ruling Massachusetts matriarchy \u2014 or witchcraft.<\/p>\n

At the signing of the new abortion killing bill, Healey was surrounded by cheering young women, some in dresses who looked fairly wholesome (no tattoos, nose rings, or blue hair). As several social media posts noted, \u201cThese happy women were cheering and applauding as if they had won the lottery.\u201d Indeed. The perverse picture of the happy women went viral. I couldn\u2019t help thinking that here was a genuine witches\u2019 sabbath, a resurrection of the demonic and the spirit of\u2026Salem, but in a new form.<\/p>

Massachusetts now joins Alaska, Colorado, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, New Jersey, New Mexico, Oregon, and Vermont in removing gestational age limits on abortion, along with the District of Columbia.<\/p>\n

Under the Prioritizing Patient Access to Care Act, health care personnel will have greater discretion in determining whether to perform an abortion later in pregnancy, without facing legal penalties under the state\u2019s previous restrictions.<\/p>\n

SBA Pro-Life America President Marjorie Dannenfelser condemned Governor Healey, stating that late-term abortions can involve dismemberment of the fetus. Dannenfelser stated,\u00a0<\/p>\n

It should shock the conscience that tens of thousands of unborn Americans are barbarically dismembered limb by limb and torn apart every single year. Sadly, that number will only increase with Gov. Healey\u2019s approval of the Abortion Up Until Birth Bill.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The GOP must abandon the \u2018leave it to the states\u2019 position \u2013 a stance that permits egregious late-term abortion laws like this one \u2013 and advance national protections for unborn children.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Healey\u2019s executive order certainly opens the possibility for this to happen. As we have seen since the governor\u2019s actions, American Catholics are demanding the governor be excommunicated or at least be barred from receiving Holy Communion. The Archbishop of Boston, Richard Henning, called Healey\u2019s action, \u201cA grave offense against the sanctity and dignity of every person.\u201d Bishop Robert Barron also spoke out against the governor\u2019s actions.<\/p>\n

Yet nothing will happen to Healey if the call for excommunication, or some other penalty, is heard from only a few bishops. There needs to be a united front amongst U.S. bishops, a coming together on a grand scale to address this massive fall from grace.<\/p>\n

Will it happen? It\u2019s doubtful. We must not forget that in 2024 Healey was invited to the Vatican to participate in a climate change summit, during which she met Pope Francis and was given a rosary.<\/p>\n

A late-term \u201cabortion rosary\u201d you\u2019ll likely never see at a Planned Parenthood protest.<\/p>
