device.<\/p>\n<p>Full disclosure: Back in university, I spent time in an internship that produced another type of silencer that followed these same principles.\u00a0\u00a0I studied and developed computer performance models for these devices.<\/p>\n<p>This is just a part of a subtle shift in momentum in the cause of liberty in disparate but important areas.\u00a0\u00a0Because events are foreshadowing a showdown of individualism versus collectivism, economic freedom versus communism, and classic liberals versus DSA demonic sociopaths.\u00a0\u00a0In short, a titanic contest between good and evil on a global scale.<\/p>\n<p>One side essentially wants society to leave them alone, whereas the other considers it imperative that society be in control of everyone for the \u201ccommon good.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0One side simply wants to work and earn a living and thus contribute to society.\u00a0\u00a0The other considers their existence enough of a contribution to society, and it should constantly need to lie and gaslight to foment their plans.\u00a0\u00a0Their cynical scheme is to offer a plethora of freebies that will never be fulfilled and rely on force when these fall short, as it always has been throughout history.<\/p>\n<p>The past few weeks have included near-constant gaslighting by the far left \u2014 the \u201csudden\u201d rise in communism as the new cool concept on the block.\u00a0\u00a0Either that, or it was the \u201cfear vibe\u201d of this rising red tide that no one would be able to \u201cresist.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The same also holds for the rising tide against guns by the ghouls of the gun-grabber lobby.\u00a0\u00a0Everyone is supposed to be turning away in fear from firearms because of the \u201cepidemic\u201d (gee, where have we heard that kind of talk before?) of inanimate object violence (pardon us, \u201cgun violence\u201d).<\/p>\n<p>Again, we\u2019re all supposed to look at the scourge of mass shootings and all clamor to be controlled.\u00a0\u00a0Thus the connection between the two concepts.<\/p>\n<p>But the trends are toward freedom.\u00a0\u00a0It\u2019s not just that the DSA have lost momentum; it\u2019s that the trends are positive on the 2nd Amendment.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cengaged in the business\u201d rule is kaput, and so are their cherished dreams of a made-for-confiscation gun registry.\u00a0\u00a0That was the first domino to drop.<\/p>\n<p>Then we had another example of a good guy with a gun stopping a mass shooting \u2014 destroying the lie from the ghouls that this never happens.
