I have long wondered if those who lived in pre-Revolutionary America knew somehow that they were living in capital-R Revolutionary times.\u00a0 What were they feeling in 1765, 1770, 1775?\u00a0 Did they know somehow, on some level, that a can\u2019t-turn-back tipping point was near?\u00a0 The troubles were certainly ongoing.\u00a0 It\u2019s not like they just woke up one day and wrote the Declaration to piss off King George.\u00a0 It had been building for quite a while, in very real and very lethal ways.<\/p>

Are we in those times right now?\u00a0 And would we even know it if we were?\u00a0 Heaven knows our troubles have been brewing for a while.\u00a0 It\u2019s almost daily that we are greeted with confirmation of corruption we pieced together years ago, but are only now getting official paperwork on.\u00a0 It\u2019s as if the machinery of power is belching it out, too full for the table.<\/p>\n

I thought it might be instructive to review just some of the treachery we\u2019ve endured that\u2019s gone unanswered.\u00a0 Mind you, this is just a partial<\/em> list but it certainly reads like a \u201cpre-Revolutionary\u201d list to me.<\/p>\n

2011<\/strong>:\u00a0 We learned about the ATF \u201cgun walking\u201d scandal Fast and Furious, when Obama\u2019s Attorney General Eric Holder purposely let guns \u201cwalk\u201d into Mexico.\u00a0 One gun was implicated in the death of border agent, Brian Terry.\u00a0 Let\u2019s be clear:\u00a0 Holder trusted the cartels with guns more than he trusted his fellow Americans.<\/em> \u00a0That\u2019s what his actions told us. No government officials have been jailed or even indicted.<\/p>\n

2012<\/strong>:\u00a0 Benghazi resulted in four dead Americans. Hillary Clinton smirked through her hearing.\u00a0 No government officials have been jailed or even indicted.<\/p>\n

2013<\/strong>:\u00a0 Edward Snowden revealed the depth and breadth of the government\u2019s illegal spying on Americans. No government officials have been jailed or even indicted.<\/p>\n

2017<\/strong>: Now begins the years-long drip, drip, drip of the stories about who started the spying on Donald Trump before and after his first Inauguration.\u00a0 It\u2019s a massive<\/em> conspiracy that goes right into Obama\u2019s Oval Office: this is inarguably<\/em> true.\u00a0 Yet, no government officials have been jailed.\u00a0 Former FBI Director James Comey was finally<\/em> indicted for related leaking, but the case was tossed out on a technicality.<\/p>\n

2019<\/strong>:\u00a0 Trump\u2019s first b.s. impeachment.<\/p>\n

2020<\/strong>:\u00a0 COVID lockdowns and mandates.\u00a0 Civil liberties in blue states were absolutely gutted.\u00a0 We were lied to about the nature and implications of both the virus and the vax.\u00a0 (We\u2019ll get to Fauci shortly.)\u00a0 People are killed, bankrupted, or permanently harmed in a myriad of ways.\u00a0 No government officials have been jailed or even indicted.<\/p>\n

2021<\/strong>:\u00a0 Trump\u2019s second b.s. impeachment \u2014 after he\u2019s out of office!<\/p>\n

2021<\/strong>:\u00a0 The Fedsurrection on January 6th results in a dragnet, thousands wide, where people are investigated, indicted, bankrupted, jailed and otherwise ruined.\u00a0 Ashli Babbitt and Rosanne Boyland lost their lives.\u00a0 No government officials have been jailed or even indicted for this massive abuse of power.<\/p>\n

2023<\/strong>:\u00a0 Trump was indicted and arraigned in New York on b.s. criminal charges.\u00a0 It was just one of four cases brought against him on \u201cnovel\u201d legal theories, which included an improperly predicated and armed<\/em> raid on Mar-a-Lago, the first time a president\u2019s home had ever been raided by the FBI.\u00a0 No government officials have been jailed or even indicted for this massive abuse of power.<\/p>

2024<\/strong>:\u00a0 Trump was nearly killed by an assassin\u2019s bullet in Butler, PA.\u00a0 Secret Service is known to have had massive failures that day, and while the director resigned, no government officials were fired or even disciplined as far as we know.\u00a0 There have been at least three attempts on the president\u2019s life since.<\/p>\n

2025<\/strong>:\u00a0 Activist judges are overturning\/impeding Trump\u2019s actions as Chief Executive at a record pace, exponentially<\/em> outstripping all previous records of presidents thus encumbered.\u00a0 One case even involved the House passing legislation, which President Trump signed into law, to defund some abortion money, yet the judge still<\/em> ruled the defunding illegal\u2026 even though it\u2019s\u2026 the law<\/em>.\u00a0 None of them are facing impeachment by the Republican House, though some, clearly, richly deserve it.<\/p>\n

2026<\/strong>: Fauci, the neo-Mengele gnome, entered the ring with his 111x pleading of the Fifth.\u00a0 If his actions weren\u2019t crimes against humanity \u2014 and not just COVID,\u00a0 but going all the way back to his involvement with AIDS \u2014 then the phrase has no meaning.<\/p>\n

Again \u2014- this is but a small portion<\/em> of the subversions, betrayals and calumnies we\u2019ve endured.<\/p>\n

This is unsustainable.\u00a0 And we all know it.\u00a0 And I know I\u2019m feeling<\/em> it.<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve been feeling out of sorts for quite a long while now and only recently self-diagnosed it as anxiety \u2014 \u201canticipating\u201d a \u201cbroad\u201d threat \u2014 which is a new feeling for me.\u00a0 Though I think a good argument could be made that what we conservatives are feeling is genuine \u201cfear\u201d of a \u201cclearly identifiable and specific<\/em> threat\u201d to our country and our way of life, so I guess there\u2019s some wiggle room there.\u00a0 What I know for sure is that I\u2019m out of sorts, and I thought writing about might be clarifying.<\/p>\n

We are<\/em> toeing some trouble here, aren\u2019t we?\u00a0 And it\u2019s clearly been building.\u00a0 To be sure, it\u2019s been a great first year-and-a-half with Trump in power, but all it takes to feel an omnipresent sense of danger is to read that partial list of treachery and know that if we lose the midterms, some Frankenstein version of America will emerge.\u00a0 They\u2019ve all but promised it.<\/p>\n

In the meantime, Donald J. Trump is in the Oval Office, we have majorities on the Hill (for what they\u2019re worth) and we have each other and this oasis of common sense in American Thinker. \u00a0We can lean hard into that and secure Liberty.\u00a0 We can vote Republican in November as though our lives depend on it \u2014 even though these Trump-hating, foot-dragging RINOs don\u2019t deserve it. Or we can get busy making musket balls.\u00a0 I don\u2019t know which way this is going to go, but the tipping point feels imminent and very real, doesn\u2019t it?<\/p>\n
